A really interesting exhibition for me as a celebrant to see at Buckingham Palace recently, which included the wedding dress of Queen Elizabeth II (Princess Elizabeth at the time).

Made in 1947, during a time, post Second World War, when rationing was still in place and material had to be bought with ration coupons.

This reminded me that the change of seasons also brings changes for celebrants - the majority of ceremonies occurring in spring (38%) and autumn (30%) with summer and winter ceremonies in the teens.
