You supply the alcohol, we do the rest We're that friend who actually
knows how to make a proper Old Fashioned (and won't drink all your good
whiskey while doing it). Here's the deal: You tell us about your shindig - how many people you're
expecting, where

it's happening, and any special requests. Maybe Aunt
Carol only drinks virgin piña coladas, or your boss thinks he's a tequila
connoisseur. We can handle both. Pick your poison from our menu of cocktails and mocktails. Want a
signature drink named after your dog? We're here for it. Once you're
happy with the selection, we'll lock in your date with a 50% deposit. A week before your event, we'll double-check every detail with you. (Fair
warning: last-minute changes might cost a bit extra, like trying to add a
chocolate fountain at 3 AM. Yes, that's happened.) On the big day, we roll up with our mobile bar - think of it as your
personal cocktail command center. While you're busy being the host with
the most, our bartenders will be crafting drinks that'll have your guests
asking for the recipe (spoiler: we won't give away our secrets). No stress. No warm beer. No trying to figure out what goes in a
Moscow Mule at midnight. Just you, your guests, and drinks that'll make your party the one everyone
talks about until your next one.

Everyone keeps telling me AI is coming for our jobs.

Maybe it will.

It can write Facebook posts, edit photos, create logos, answer questions in seconds, and probably knows more cocktail recipes than I do.

But here's what AI can't do...

It can't hand a nervous bride her first glass of champagne and tell her everything is going to be okay.

It can't hear the story of how Nan and Pop met 60 years ago while mixing an Old Fashioned.

It can't laugh with your guests when Uncle Bob starts dancing before the music has even begun.

It can't capture the proud tears in a father's eyes when he sees his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time.

And it definitely can't drag a 1952 vintage caravan halfway across Queensland to serve cocktails under the stars.

AI is a wonderful tool. I use it every day. It helps me write, create, edit and dream bigger.

But people still want people.

They want stories.
They want connection.
They want memories.
They want someone who genuinely cares.

So for now, I think my job is safe.

Besides... if the robots want to spend 10 hours on their feet serving Espresso Martinis to wedding guests, they're welcome to it. 🍸😂

Until then, you'll find me behind the bar, camera in hand, collecting stories one cocktail and one photograph at a time.

🌫️📚🔥 At 10:30am, I am officially prepared for the Zombie Apocalypse.

The fog rolling through Toowoomba this morning is so thick it feels like the opening scene of a horror movie. Visibility is somewhere between "a few metres" and "good luck, everyone."

Driving CJ to school felt less like a normal Wednesday and more like I was scouting locations for *The Walking Dead*. If a zombie had wandered across the road, I honestly don't think I would have been surprised.

So I've made an executive decision. The fire is crackling, the kettle is on, I've got a good book in my hands, and the dogs are curled up at my feet living their very best lives. 🐾❤️

The outside world can keep its spooky fog and end-of-days atmosphere for a little while longer. You'll find me right here, warm, cosy, and pretending I don't have adult responsibilities.

If the apocalypse does arrive, please know I will be facing it exactly as I am now... wrapped in a blanket with a cup of tea and two poodles as my security team. ☕🐩🐩

Long before espresso martinis and spritzes filled our glasses, there was a drink surrounded by mystery, creativity and legend.

Absinthe, affectionately known as **The Green Fairy**, was born in Europe during the late 1700s and became the drink of artists, writers and dreamers throughout the 19th century.
