We here at Have you seen my weiner feel the need to advise of our formal closure for regular service.
This has been awhile coming unfortunately, if you've been wondering where we've been hiding. We haven't been, we've merely been trying to survive.
We bought our family home December 2024.
February 4 2025, our lives and home were threatened by the Neighbour, threatening to burn our home down with us along with it, including a 6yr old child.. Police were notified via 000 leading to them arriving, attempting to arrest said person, with this person then assaulting the attending Police officers, along with further threats made to adjoining neighbours providing a safe haven, my mother in law and further threats to our little girl. Further threats were made whilst this person was in custody at the Police station.
Prior to this night, our children were threatened, screamed at, obscene gestures and disgusting tirades against animals were all made. Police were notified.
Cessnock City Council had been complained to making heinous wild false allegations, Hunter Water were complained to aswell, again given false allegations.
We have been harassed via social media, business phone lines, even random members whom seemingly would be "friends" of the neighbour. This has led to a serious inability to do anything. The ADVO was provided to Cessnock City Council, yet further false allegations were made against us, inclusive of "running a mechanical workshop", "manufacture and supply of animal product and skin penetrative devices". All whilst Council had provided our permitted trade, they'd also performed Health & Safety checks, all passed with flying colours. "Using of power tools after hours" - this is in reference to a Generator. A generator we were accused of running the very weekend of the flooding storms in January 2025. That weekend I had rushed to Sydney to be with my family due to a close relative in hospital, to say my goodbyes. Come home to more tirades of abuse.
We can't continue in this fashion, every week we wait for further complaints, abuse, threats, you name it. It's mentally draining beyond belief.
This has also led to significant psychosocial issues for our families and our children, to the point the 6yr old is too terrified to play in her own family backyard. Imagine that, in an age where parents are practically begging a lot of children to spend time outside playing, with the freedoms we all had.
I digress. The events of February 4 2025, whilst all caught on cctv, are evidently not an isolated incident for this neighbour, whereby the Courts advised there's been other occasions where Police have been assaulted at the hands of this person.
March 25 2025, this person pled guilty to the criminal charges. May 9 this person was sentenced to a full time custodial sentence. The same day / next morning, had applied for bail successfully to appeal the "severity" of the sentence and is now out to further terrorise and destroy any sense of safety my family had. To be heard August 2025 at the District Court.
We have poured our hearts and souls into this venture. We merely wanted to provide good, honest food with a fun twist to our wider community.
We have made the decision to close all availability of services, fairs, shows, festivals et al. The only remaining services are those pre-booked private events already scheduled.
To the community of Neath, Cessnock and beyond, thank you for allowing our foods into your minds and stomachs, we appreciate the opportunity to put on a show and show you what wholesome food truly is with flavour, sass and flair.
