That’s the bit we never get tired of. You’ve talked about it for months. Made a million decisions. Seen samples, sketches and plans. Trusted us when we said, “Yep, we can make that happen.”

We love to see our florals making their debut of the day. 🌸

Holly with her bouquet. Her girls each carrying their own piece of the floral story. And over with the boys, a full team effort underway to get everyone’s buttonholes pinned on just right - so damn wholesome!

We loved creating the florals for Holly and Oliver’s day, from Holly’s layered bouquet of soft blush, deep burgundy and sculptural blooms, to the bridesmaids’ en masse bouquets and those beautiful buttonholes.

Wedding flowers are a part of the day from the very beginning, woven into all those small, special moments before the “I do”.

It’s very easy to walk into a venue, fall in love with the view and start picturing where the flowers will go.

We get it. We do the same thing.

But after years of planning, styling and coordinating weddings, we’re also looking at everything else.

Where will your guests go after the ceremony? What happens if it’s 40 degrees? Where will everyone gather? What does the space feel like after dark? Can Grandma get around easily? Can we actually install that floral idea you’ve fallen in love with? And, critically, can we turn off the big light?

These aren’t always the exciting questions, but they can have a huge impact on how your wedding actually feels on the day.

This is also where having an experienced team in your corner makes a difference. We know what to look for, what to ask and what can easily be overlooked when you’re seeing a venue through newly engaged eyes.

Comfortable guests are fun guests.

We want full dance floors, long dinners, roaring laughter and people ordering “one more” when they absolutely said they were leaving an hour ago.

Much harder to achieve when everyone’s starving, Nan’s freezing, half the room is squinting into the afternoon sun and there’s a 20-minute queue at the bar.

Guest comfort might not be the sexiest line in the wedding budget, but it does an enormous amount of heavy lifting.

Feed them well. Give them somewhere good to sit. Keep the drinks coming. Think about the temperature, their comfort, the lighting and the flow. People are extremely good at partying when all their basic needs have been handled!

And the best part? None of this needs to be your problem on the day.
We’ll think about the details, the flow, the comfort and how it all comes together, so you can be busy doing far more important things. Like getting married, drinking ch*****ne and actually enjoying the party you spent all that time planning.

Respectfully, your guests deserve a hot table.

For our Earp Distilling Co shoot, we wanted every seat to feel considered. Beautiful custom menus and place cards layered over linen napkins. Lamps glowing between the w**e glasses. Gold cutlery, stunning florals. Modern. Chic. Romantic. Sexy.

Tablescape styling is one of the few parts of your wedding your guests experience REALLY up close. They touch it. Eat around it. Photograph it. Spill ch*****ne on it.

A table for two, in a room full of your favourite people. 🤍

A sweetheart table is exactly that. A reception table just for the newlyweds, rather than sitting along a traditional bridal table or amongst your guests. And we’re big fans.

Not because you need to separate yourselves from the party (absolutely not), but because weddings move FAST. A sweetheart table gives you these little pockets throughout dinner where you actually get to sit beside your lover, and soak in this special time together.

From a design perspective, they’re also very fun. You can make this table feel extra special. Beautiful florals. Statement chairs. Layers of candlelight. Personal details. A slightly more romantic moment within the wider reception design.

For our recent shoot at Earp Distilling Co., we leaned right into that idea. Something romantic and beautiful, but still playful enough to belong in a distillery.

Of course, sweetheart tables aren’t for everyone. Some couples would much rather be right amongst their bridal party or smack bang in the middle of their guests. There’s no superior option here.
It’s really a question of how you want dinner to feel.

Weddings at a gin distillery? We’re listening. 🥃

We recently visited EARP Distilling Co in Carrington for a styled shoot, and it reminded us just how much fun this venue is for weddings.

The Barrel Hall has all the good stuff already there. Exposed brick, soaring ceilings, and enough industrial character that you absolutely do not need to over-style it.

Then there’s the fact that you’re getting married in an actual distillery. Spirits made on site. Cocktails flowing. Great food. Carrington outside the door. It feels distinctly local and a little unexpected, which is exactly what we like about it.

For this shoot, we played against industrial finishes with florals, layered styling, drapery and custom graphic design, creating something that felt modern, playful and very at home in the space.
And that’s the fun of a venue like Earp. There’s already a personality to work with. Our job is to add yours.

Let’s talk wedding luxuries…

Sometimes it’s the big, beautiful, spectacular stuff. And sometimes it’s realising you haven’t thought about the temperature, waited for a drink, wondered where to go next or been hungry for even a second.

It’s feeling looked after without really noticing you’re being looked after.

And for the couple? It’s getting to actually be at your own wedding. Eating the food. Drinking the ch*****ne. Talking to your people. Taking it all in. Not answering questions about where the cake knife is.

We love beautiful things (obviously). But the weddings that really get us are the ones that feel as good as they look.

That’s the kind of experience we want to create for you, and everyone lucky enough to be invited.

The feeling matters every time.

It’s easy to get caught up in how your wedding is going to look. There are a lot of decisions, a lot of inspiration, and approximately 47,000 beautiful things you could spend money on.

But the real test of any decision is: what does it add to the day?
Does it make the room feel warmer?�Make dinner feel more intimate?�Encourage people to stay and connect a little longer?�Make the ceremony feel more like you?�Make your guests feel looked after?�Make you ridiculously happy when you walk in?
That’s what we mean when we say the feeling matters.

We don’t want to add things just because they’re beautiful, trending or expected. We want every choice to contribute to the kind of wedding you actually want to have.

“Beautiful” can look a thousand different ways. How it feels is what makes it yours.
