A space made for celebrations. At Frida’s Field, the restaurant is as much a part of the experience as the landscape that surrounds it. Set on our 120-acre family-run farm in the Byron Bay Hinterland, the architecturally designed restaurant is a grand, open-plan space created to make the most of its beautiful rural setting. Neutral tones, natural textures and warm timber create an understated elegance, while the dramatic ebony barn doors open wide to bring the outside in. The covered verandah opens onto a spacious lawn terrace, with sweeping views across the fields towards orchard-lined hills. There’s room to move, room to gather and plenty of space for your celebration to flow naturally between indoors and out. It feels wonderfully private and removed from the everyday — your own rural oasis, surrounded by nature. And yet, it’s just 25 minutes from central Byron Bay and 10 minutes from Bangalow.

A wedding day with a little bit of Byron magic! Renee & Jake began their festivities with a first viewing at our on-site Cottage, followed by photos with their bridal party beneath the beautiful old fig tree — one of those little corners of Frida’s Field that feels completely tucked away from the world. Then it was into the Kombi van for a drive through the farm before making a very Byron Bay arrival at their ceremony — surrounded by lush green pasture and the rolling hills of the Hinterland. After saying “I do”, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the lawn terrance as the sun set and made their way to the canopy of our stunning laurel trees for an alfresco celebration, with long tables, colourful details, beautiful food and those incredible hinterland views as the backdrop. Renee & Jake’s day made the most of everything we love about a wedding at Frida’s Field — beautiful spaces, plenty of room to wander, and a celebration that feels completely your own.

Taylor & Darcy epitomised elegant simplicity with their gorgeous wedding at Frida's Field - simply stunning as their day unfolded around the property. From a beautiful ceremony with the laurel trees as their backdrop, photo sites a plenty, cocktail hour on the top lawn terrace as the sun set and then into the restaurant for a sumptuous feast with speeches and then dancing the night away.
