Announcing our 4th annual winter celebration of underground sounds on the Sunshine Coast.
Rough edged and atmospheric, where texture, tension and sonic exploration meet a certain unvarnished intent.
There’s tension in the space between restraint and abrasion.

Featuring:

HEINZ RIEGLER is an interdisciplinary artist working across sound, installation, video, and performance, currently living on Gubbi Gubbi land in South East Queensland. His work is known for transforming materials and situations into spatial performances and installations. Alongside installation work, Riegler composes ambient music released through , with recent performances including live cinema scores for Nikolaus Geyrhalter’s Homo Sapiens across Australian capital cities, presented by the Goethe Institute. His work has been presented by MONA’s Dark M**o festival, the Institute of Modern Art (IMA) and Monash University Museum of Art (MUMA).

LUNAR DIRT is a Meanjin Brisbane duo combining live drums and analogue synths to create frenetic electro kraut space rave. Immersive, propulsive instrumental performances built from motorik rhythms, underground electronics and cult sci fi aesthetics.

ORTHICON is a Sunshine Coast based project working across black metal, ambient and experimental electronics. Moving between extreme metal intensity and cinematic electronic sound environments, exploring contrast, atmosphere and sonic density.

This Saturday we are delighted to have DC Cross at GLÓR.

Darren Cross ala .ccross , is an Australian songwriter, guitarist, producer and video maker, best known as the founding vocalist and guitarist of Gerling from 1992 to 2007.

His current solo work centres on a distinctive acoustic guitar style, drawing from American and British folk traditions of the 1960s and 70s, echoing artists like John Fahey, Leo Kottke, Elizabeth Cotten, Nick Drake and Bert Jansch.

Under his D.C Cross moniker, he has released seven instrumental guitar albums between 2019 and 2025, including Open Guitar Volume One, which highlights his focused, expressive approach.

Across a 25 year career, Cross has released 17 albums spanning solo work and projects including E.L.F. and the folk noir duo Jep and Dep with Jessica Cassar. He has collaborated with artists such The apartments, , , and , working across genres from indie rock and electronica to traditional folk.

A seasoned live performer, Cross has toured extensively throughout Australia and Europe, including a 19 show run across Germany, France and Belgium in 2025. He has shared stages with , , , and .
