It’s Lauren here - Celebrant for The Wild Love Collective 💫

I want to grab your attention for a moment to talk about your elopement CEREMONY.

Just because elopements are smaller, by no means makes them any ‘lesser’. Likewise, just because they’re simpler, doesn’t mean they’re less sacred.

Profound intimacy lies in the quiet exchange of vows (without the eyes of a crowd on you), whether it’s on a mountain top, under the shade of a tree, beside a trickling stream (or wherever your perfect place is!)

Asha and I have been dancing around weddings together for over two years now. Cameras in hand, snacks in bags, and always up for a laugh. Between us, we’ve clocked up over 10 years in the wedding world, so we feel pretty well-seasoned and are pros at problem solving just about anything that comes our way.

Did you know photographers are never just photographers? We’re also timeline keepers, dress fluffers, boutonnière pinners, veil untanglers, hype girls, light chasers, emergency kit carriers, and calm-in-the-chaos finders. We’ve fixed broken zippers, fetched forgotten bouquets, held babies, wiped tears, and danced alongside nan on the dance floor.

Basically we’re in your corner, cameras ready, for whatever the day brings. We are one of the only vendors that are with you from start to finish and we love every second of it!

Meet the [complete] Wild Love Team! 💫

As I sit here, I’m actually a little lost for words about what to say about the women standing alongside me in this photo.

Just a few months ago, Kim and myself sat at my kitchen table, toying with the idea of building our own little Elopement/Micro Wedding business.

Six months later, here we are! We’ve welcomed another photographer on board, as well as a content creator. We’ve also (in the last few days) been incredibly lucky to collaborate with other small local businesses to create a styled elopement shoot that we could only dream of! (You’ll be seeing plenty of images in the coming weeks!)

For now though, I want to give huge credit to the ladies above. They’ve gone above and beyond the last few months with such passion and dedication, all while juggling their own small businesses, family life, and young children. They’re all little powerhouses and proof of what can happen when women build each other up - and I’m so proud to be working alongside them!
