💕 Every couple has their own unique love story, and that's one of the things I love most about being a marriage celebrant.

Last Sunday, I had the pleasure of conducting a Legals Only ceremony for a gorgeous couple who had already exchanged their vows in the breathtaking surroundings of beautiful Fiji—just the two of them. They chose an intimate elopement, celebrating their commitment in a way that felt completely right for them. It was the perfect way to begin married life together before returning home to Tasmania, where we completed the legal formalities in a simple and heartfelt ceremony.

When I first met them, I could tell the love they had for each other. It was there in the way they looked at one another, the smiles they shared, and the quiet connection between them. It's moments like these that remind me what a privilege it is to stand alongside couples as they begin this new chapter.

Their ceremony even included a lovely nod to The Owl and the Pussy-cat—a whimsical reminder that love is an adventure, and sometimes the most wonderful journeys begin with two hearts simply choosing each other.

Congratulations to you both, and thank you for allowing me to be part of your beautiful journey. Wishing you a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and many more adventures together. ❤️💍

🤍 Ryan & Dimity ~ 4•06•2026 🤍

Some love stories seem destined from the very beginning, and Ryan and Dimity's is one of them. 💕

Their incredible journey together began at a debutante ball, where neither could have imagined that a single dance would be the start of a love story that would span 15 years.

Last Thursday, on the anniversary of the day they first became a couple, Ryan and Dimity chose to take the next step in their journey and become husband and wife. It was a beautiful way to honour not only the future they are building together, but also the years of love, friendship, laughter, support, and memories that have brought them to this moment.

I was privileged to be part of their special day, assisting with the legal requirements while Olivia, a soon-to-be registered celebrant, conducted the ceremony beautifully. It was such a rewarding experience to support Olivia as she continues her celebrancy journey while witnessing a couple whose love and commitment to each other was evident in every moment.

Days like these are a reminder of how fortunate I am to be involved in such meaningful occasions.

I left feeling truly blessed to have shared in a celebration that was filled with so much love and happiness.

Congratulations, Ryan and Dimity, on your marriage and on 15 wonderful years together. May your next chapter be every bit as beautiful as the story that began all those years ago at a debutante ball. 💚💍

There’s something truly special about a love story that comes full circle 🥰

These two first met as children, then life took them on their own separate journeys—only to find each other again years later over a simple coffee. And from that moment, everything changed.

Recently, I had the absolute honour of officiating their small and intimate ceremony. No grand gestures needed—just genuine love, shared history, and the kind of connection that shines effortlessly.

Feeling very grateful today 💛

I received a beautiful thank you card and a thoughtful gift from the lovely couple I had the honour of marrying today. It’s moments like these that remind me how special it is to be part of such meaningful milestones in people’s lives.

Sometimes the most meaningful weddings are the simplest ones.

Last Thursday I had the joy of performing a very small Legals Only ceremony with just a handful of people present. No big production — just two people who love each other and wanted to be married.

When I first met them, the groom was wearing a dinosaur shirt and we had a good laugh about it. On the day of the ceremony… he wore it again. And honestly, it made the whole moment even better — completely genuine and completely them...💕

It was a beautiful reminder that weddings don’t need to be a big performance.

You just need each other. ❤️
