💍Celebrants from the Hunter, Lake Macquarie and Central Coast met up at Club Macquarie to talk about …. Celebrancy!! There’s always lots to catch up on. Tonight we talked about our Risk Management Plans, and the various Insurance options. We touched on Self Care, and we practiced a little self care by having a drink and meal afterwards! Pictured with me is Shayrn Hemsworth, a Hunter Valley Celebrant. We got to know each other and I look forward to the next gathering of Celebrants. I wonder if there’s a collective noun for a group of Celebrants? 🤔

☀️This morning I caught up with Diane who volunteers with 2CHR, Cessnock’s local radio station. It was warm and sunny in Vincent street, at Elevenses, where we talked about local radio advertising. It was also quite windy .. as you can see by my hair 😂. Radio advertising 🤔. Yes. Im going to give it a go.

At the to tonight’s Cessnock Business Chamber meeting, I was introduced to Jennifer Catering and cafe, and Carolyn, who holds a position in Economic Development and Tourism at Cessnock City Council.
☕️Jennifer’s passion for her cafe has made me really keen to try her Wattle Seed coffee, and I enjoyed hearing of Carolyn’s new role with Council.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Thinking about weddings … haha as you do when you’re a celebrant. Browsing Pinterest, this delightful wedding-guest gift idea popped up. A key bottle opener! It’s beautiful and practical! 🎨New experiences become important memories. I recently entered the Laguna Art Show, for the first time. It was exciting to see my paintings on the wall with all the other wonderful contributions made to the Laguna PS fundraiser. Even more exciting, when one of my paintings, Lunar Views, was sold. 🤔It got me thinking about first time experiences.
