A Tribute to Linda Ronstadt & The Eagles – A Musical Legacy In the early 1970s, Linda Ronstadt set out to take her show on the road — and in doing so, helped shape the future of American rock music. She hired two young, talented musicians, Don Henley and Glenn Frey, to join her touring band. While rooming together on tour, Don and Glenn discovered their shared songwriting talents and vocal chemistry. With Linda’s encouragement, they went on to form what would become one of the most iconic bands in music history: The Eagles. Not long after their formation, The Eagles rose to fame with chart-topping hits. Linda Ronstadt, already a star in her own right, would later join them on tour, performing backing vocals and tambourine on some of their biggest songs.

This concert show is inspired by that remarkable moment in music history, celebrating the enduring legacy of The Eagles and Linda Ronstadt. Relive the unforgettable classics — from Hotel California, Tequila Sunrise, and Take It Easy to You're No Good, Blue Bayou, Just One Look and so many more.

WHAT A HUGE SUCCESS! ❤️🎶
What a night we had at the Portarlington Parks Hall!

Our Swinging 60s Winter Party certainly did not disappoint. We had 225 strong 60s-era fans who came dressed for the occasion, and what a sight it was! With the rain pouring outside, inside it felt like Woodstock all over again. The atmosphere was electric, the energy was incredible, and the room was absolutely buzzing from start to finish.

A huge thank you to The Herberts for supporting my vision for this event. You guys absolutely blew the roof off the joint! What a fantastic mix of 60s music. We love this era, and you pay such a wonderful tribute to these iconic bands and songs. Thank you, Herberts — we’re already looking forward to the next show!

A massive thank you to Cal on sound and lighting. You helped turn the room into a colourful 60s explosion of colour! The sound was perfect, and the lighting really brought the whole night to life.

Thank you to our wonderful partners Scotchmans Hill and Celebrations for supplying the wine and drinks for our bar. Your support is greatly appreciated.

And lastly, a huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported this event. You travelled from Melbourne and surrounding areas to celebrate this glorious era of music, and we honestly couldn’t be more grateful.
My wife and I are truly humbled by all the lovely comments and messages we received yesterday. It means so much to us to know that everyone enjoyed the night as much as we did.

A very special thank you to my wife, Mum and Dad, my kids, Aunty and my cousin for all your help in the lead-up to the event, setting up, packing up and helping behind the bar. ❤️
