We’re sharing art and ideas out in the open as part of our Semester 2 program.

Walk in the presence of eucalypts around UniMelb’s Parkville campus. Contribute to a growing street artwork. Reconnect with nature by drawing outside. Then as part of Melbourne Fringe Festival, two performances will examine how the body provokes ideas through dance.

More than 4 million Aussies work at night. 🌚🌃👷🏻‍♀️

So how are spaces like designed (or not designed) to keep people safe after hours?

Delve into this with a guided team of researchers working across criminology, urban studies, social planning, architecture and visual culture, to explore many of the different challenges of designing city spaces for life after dark, as well as the often unseen workers who sustain it.
