I started with a beautiful piece of burgundy leather and ended up with a custom bar menu I’m very obsessed with.

And the best part? Watching the Maker 5 cut through leather like butter. ✨

Lace, but make it luxe. ❤️‍🔥

I wanted to see what would happen if I combined delicate lace with a little red-hot attitude - and these place cards did not disappoint.

Made with my Maker 4 and metallic red HTV, I cut the names and pressed them directly onto the lace for a finish that feels unexpected, tactile and seriously luxe.

Because wedding stationery doesn’t always have to be paper. Sometimes the smallest detail can completely change the look of a table.

Crafty mama era: activated. ✂️🤎
I’ve had these plain tees sitting in my studio for weeks, just waiting for their moment… and after seeing one too many trucks and dinosaurs on boys’ clothes, I decided it was time for a little ✨wardrobe intervention✨.

Enter the new Cricut Maker 5 Essentials Pack - which includes all the materials you need to make up to 65 projects, a whole range of cutting materials AND a Maker 5 that’s up to 30% faster. 👀

For this project, I reached for the matless iron-on sheets, and the colourway was exactly what I had in mind. I found my designs in Design Space, worked out the dimensions, loaded the Maker 5 and let it do its thing. And can we talk about the matless cutting?! This was my first time using it and I am officially sold. No mat, less fuss and seriously easy to use.

A little weeding, a little layering and my Mini EasyPress did the rest. 👌🏼

And suddenly these very basic tees have gone from meh to boutique-worthy, for a fraction of the price - using materials that came straight from the box.

And of course, I’ve kept all my leftover iron-on because there’s already another crafty mama project brewing. 😂

The hardest part now? Deciding what to make next.

Wait… this was made with 👀

And yes, that’s embossing.

For this bar sign, we wanted something that felt elevated, tactile and a little unexpected. We paired the embossed detail with a silver card stock, and that’s where the magic really happened.

The metallic surface catches the light beautifully, giving the design this gorgeous luxe shine and added depth - while the embossing creates shadows and dimension you just don’t get with a flat print.

It’s such a simple combination, but the result feels anything but simple.

And proof that your Cricut can do so much more than just cut vinyl. ✨

Watch the magic happen! ✨ There is honestly nothing quite like the sound of my trusty Cricut working away to create these custom ceremony ribbons.

For this project, I used puff relief iron on vinyl paired with my Cricut EasyPress, and let me tell you, it is a match made in heaven. That dimensional, tactile finish takes these ribbons from simple to an absolute showstopper every single time.

Obsessed is an understatement, and honestly, I might never recover from how good this texture looks. 😍

Meet my new studio bestie, the Cricut Maker 5 👋🏼✨

I honestly didn’t think my Maker 4 could be improved… but here we are 😂

The Maker 5 is faster, more powerful and can now cut and engrave materials up to 3mm thick - which has my designer brain VERY excited. I’m already thinking about debossing leather bar menus, engraving acrylic name tags and cutting 3mm balsa wood. There are so many possibilities.

It’s also slimmer (🙌🏼), which means it fits neatly underneath my printer and has instantly given me back some much-needed studio real estate. The simplified interface and new snap-in pen loading system are also a very welcome upgrade, and I can’t wait to put it through its paces.

And because it comes with materials to get started straight away, there are up to 65 projects to jump into while I get acquainted with it.

Time to see what this baby can do. ✂️🔥
