“We recently booked Waves Duo through Unplugged Entertainment for our wedding ceremony and reception. Having a cocktail-style reception entertainment was one of the most important elements of our day, and Joey and Sarah absolutely exceeded all of our expectations.

We were blown away with how incredibly talented they are!! They created the most amazing atmosphere, our guests kept commenting all night how much they loved them. (Even now, two weeks later, the first thing everyone mentions to us is how great the music was!!) Joey finished the night with his DJ set and absolutely nailed it; nobody wanted to leave the dance floor at the end of the night! We couldn’t have picked better artists for our day.

From the moment we first enquired with Unplugged Entertainment to following up after our wedding day, the whole process of working with Leighton was seamless and stress-free. The level of care he showed to ensure our day went perfectly was more than we could’ve asked for!

They were all so lovely to work with. We cannot recommend them enough!! Thank you so much for making our day what it was.

“We had the pleasure of having Mukul play at our wedding.
Mukul was easy to deal with, self managed, good fun and really made us feel like we didn’t need to worry about a thing!

He understood us and what we liked and it was great to have him as part of our day. All our guests loved him too!

Paul from Unplugged was also so easy to deal with, considering we were late booking he made the whole process effortless.

“What a find!
Paul was super helpful from the first enquiry, right up to the day of the wedding. Paul listened to all our requests and provided 3 great options of which lead us to the superstar Luke J.

Paul was great to work with, he listened to all our requests and accommodated all our changes as we crafted the perfect day.

Unplugged were so generous in allowing us to essentially have 3 songs learnt but also tackling some left field suggestions of ours. Paul kept communicating with us all the way, making sure Luke was all over everything we spoke it and also providing plenty of feedback and advice.

Paul and Luke had both worked with The Farm Yarra Valley plenty of times which also made our lives so easy knowing everyone worked together before and knew the drill.

“Our wedding was an absolute dream—everything we hoped for and more! A huge part of what made the day so magical was Angus from Unplugged Entertainment.

His incredible voice and energy brought such a special touch to every moment, from the ceremony right through to the dancefloor. He read the room perfectly, kept the vibe alive, and truly made our day unforgettable.

Angus was not only a talented DJ and emcee, but also an absolute angel. When I couldn’t make decisions on the day, he stepped in with such ease and intuition—making music and timing calls that flowed so naturally with the day. It honestly felt like he just got us.

Everyone at our wedding raved about him—his beautiful voice, his presence, and the way he elevated the entire experience.

“Unplugged were exceptional. From the moment we booked until the week after our wedding, Leighton was incredible; extremely accommodating, friendly, approachable and kind.

The band themselves were phenomenal. We had Luke and Jordan, with a drummer (3 piece band). We were asked by almost everyone where we found them and that they were fantastic. That says a lot as our demographic was all ages, all nationalities and all music tastes. The band was something that stood out, and people are still talking about months later.

Definitely a stand out vendor, and I would highly recommend to everyone. We cant thank Leighton, Luke and Jordan enough.

“We booked Unplugged Entertainment for our wedding and couldn’t have been happier! Our soloist and DJ, James Marris, was absolutely incredible!

From the moment we booked via Leighton, the communication was seamless – the online portal made it super easy to upload our Spotify playlists and give instructions.

On the day, James nailed every moment: beautiful acoustic sets during our ceremony and cocktail hour, then the perfect switch to upbeat vibes during the reception and a full party atmosphere once the DJ set kicked off.

His transitions were flawless and he read the room so well – we had so many compliments on the music all night!

Highly recommended for anyone wanting professional, polished and fun entertainment from start to finish.

“We are so happy we chose Luke as our wedding musician! He brought exactly what we were looking for — the perfect mix of acoustic music and a DJ set. His voice is incredible, and his talent as a musician truly added something special to our day.

Luke was also incredibly accommodating and supportive, especially when it came to including our family in the acoustic part of the day. He made it easy for them to join in, and it really created a beautiful, personal touch. What we loved most was how Luke was always happy to go with the flow of the day, adapting to what was needed and making everything feel seamless.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We booked Taylor Piggott for our wedding through Unplugged Entertainment. Firstly, Leighton was so wonderful to deal with. Leighton is so organised; answered our (many) questions, always kept us up-to-date, and continued to touch base with us throughout the entire lead up to our wedding. The Wedding Portal setup is so clever, and made it easy for us to slowly add songs and timings once they were finalised, without it feeling like one enormous task to complete.

And, Taylor. What a lovely soul! We booked Taylor for the whole day and night (pre-ceremony, ceremony, canapés, reception, MC and DJ) and we're so glad we did. Taylor has such a beautiful voice that was very fitting for our whimsical forest wedding. He was extremely organised and flexible on the day for MC announcements, and created such an epic dance floor. We received many complements on the day, including from our venue's team which were blown away by Taylor.

Luke M has been performing as a musician around Australia and internationally for the past 20 years. As a solo performer he has held residencies in various hotels and bars in the UK and Australia.

Other gigs include Hamilton island and Hayman Island residencies, Gigs for the Australian Open, AFL and backstage preshows for Prince, The Beach boys, Coldplay , Cold Chisel and the Eagles.
