05 | THE SWAN CAKE

The way you look tonight...

A bride. A veil. And a cake carried with her beneath it.

THE SWAN CAKE plays with one of the most traditional symbols of a wedding and takes it somewhere unexpected.

An ornate faux cake of swans, columns, bows and old-world detail moves with the bride beneath her veil — becoming part of her bridal silhouette, almost like an accessory of its own.

Then, placed upon waves of blue satin, it finds its pond.

This is the beauty of a faux cake.

It can move beyond the cake table. It can be carried, draped, layered, styled and photographed. It can become a prop, an installation and part of the fashion story itself.

Traditional, but not quite as we know it.
