Do you know why Tipsy Hill is named Tipsy Hill?
The property also includes a stunning garden, featuring the rare Tipsy Hill Imperial Concubine rose, from which the name originates…🌹
It’s name is from a 6th century Chinese tea rose planted in the gardens – Rosa Tipsy Imperial Concubine. The rose – named after one of the Four Beauties of Ancient China, Yang Guifei – was so named because the pale pink blooms and alluring fragrance of the rose are said to have made her feel light-headed or tipsy.
The Tipsy Hill vineyard also produces our Pertaringa Tipsy Hill Cabernet Sauvignon 🍷
