What an adventure this weekend was… long hours in front of the fire… smooth tunes and relaxed vibes… until the power went out at 4.30 pm with guests arriving at 6!!!
The food was not a problem… all cooked with fire! But we were facing finishing prep and service in the dark… and deep dark! Needless to say it made things a little more stressful and frantic than planned!
But we got through it… everyone was fed 4 courses and a good night was had by all. It was far from perfect but we got it done! A few tears and laughs along the way!!
