🌸🌿 A little wander around the garden 🌿🌸
So many beautiful flowers putting on a show in the garden at the moment, I just had to stop and take a few photos. 📸💕
Different colours, different shapes and so many little pockets of beauty everywhere you look.
Spring is definitely starting to make an appearance, and I’m loving seeing the garden come back to life. 🌱🌸

Growing chrysanthemums has taught me to appreciate every part of nature.
While out exploring, I found these incredible lichens covering old trees and fences.
Healthy ecosystems are made up of countless organisms, from the flowers we grow to the lichens quietly living on tree trunks. Every one of them has a role to play.
Nature is always the best teacher. 🙌

❄️ Winter in the garden ❄️
While the flowers have finished their show and the garden rests, winter is far from a quiet season. It’s a time for planning, preparing, and dreaming about the blooms to come.
Beneath the cool mornings and frosty air, next season’s chrysanthemums are already beginning their journey. Every cut back, every division, and every cutting is a promise of spring and autumn colour ahead.
For now, we embrace the slower pace, warm cups of tea or a wine by the fire and the beauty that winter brings to the garden. 🌿💕

“As the chrysanthemum season comes to an end, I can’t help but reflect on the beauty this collection has brought over the past months. From the first tiny buds to these final blooms, every variety has told its own story.
Thank you to everyone who followed along, supported Dream Acre, shared advice, and appreciated the art of chrysanthemums with me. Now the garden rests, the stools are cut back, and preparations begin all over again for next season.

Yellow not my favourite but I know it’s a popular colour to everyone else. I do admit it is beautiful with its touch of green 💛
