The gods have whipped up a bit of wind for today's ceremony at The Bay of Fires, but we won't let that ruin the day. What a place to celebrate love ❤️

Saturday was a big one for me. One filled with more emotion than I can quite put into words. This time, I wasn't standing up to conduct a wedding. I was there to conduct a celebration of life.

It was tough, to say the very least and certainly not something I ever imagined facing when I became a marriage celebrant. But when I decided that celebrating life also meant honouring it at the end, I knew there would be days like this, although nothing could have ever prepared me for this one.

Five months ago, I stood alongside Jullian and Ali on the happiest day of their lives. On Saturday, I stood before so many of those same people, gathered again under circumstances none of us could ever have imagined.

The room was filled (and I mean filled to capacity) with Jullian's nearest and dearest and so many people who were proud to call him their friend. It was emotional, it was uplifting in moments, and it was completely exhausting.

No one wanted to be there, yet no one would have been anywhere else.

Rest peacefully Jullian Rodman. You will always be loved and so very sadly missed.

Well it was a windy one today, but it was oh so beautiful. Spring Bay Mill at Triabunna with guests from the Gold Coast and New Zealand enjoying (um maybe) a crisp winters day here in Tassie.

But honestly, would you want to be anywhere else? That's a hard no from me! Can't wait to share some more photos of this special day soon. Stay tuned 🤍🥂🍾🤍

I seriously fell in love with these two superstars! What a wedding this was! Beautiful, different, elegant, funny, emotional, casual, relaxed and completely stunning…… absolutely everything all rolled into one unforgettable day.

Now, most couples are happy to skip over the “if anyone objects” part of the ceremony, but not our Ella! She specifically requested it be included and let’s just say there is a reason why it’s skipped. 😂 But objection was noted and thankfully love won the day and the ceremony continued with plenty of laughter all around.

The magnificent Vaucluse Estate hosted the ceremony and breathtaking still doesn’t even come close to describing it.

I thought I’d miss our pre-wedding catch ups once this magical day was over, but Ella and Shane have kept in touch and hopefully this is a friendship that will last forever. Everyone needs a Shane and Ella in their lives - how lucky am I xx

Some places are beautiful, and then there’s Frogmore Creek. Honestly it has to be one of the eighth wonders of Tassie and you really need to see it for yourself to understand why.

On a stunning day in March this year, I had the absolute pleasure of standing there with these two incredible humans as some pretty magical dreams came true.

Lucy may be a Tassie girl now living in Victoria, but when Loughie decided it was time to pop the big question, he did it properly. Jumping out of the bushes in Richmond, ring in hand, with a very important question on his lips. And from that moment on, there was never any doubt that this was where their wedding day had to be.

And what a day it was.

I could try to describe it all, but honestly, the photos by Alex Giles Photography tell the story far better than I ever could.

Much love to you both, Mr and Mrs Brown. May your life together be every bit as beautiful and unforgettable as the day you said “I do”

There is nothing I love more than fun and laughter at a wedding and this one had soooo much. From the excitement of that epic train ride at Don River Railway, to a little roasting of the bridal party, to literally tying the knot, it was filled with laughter, love and unforgettable moments from beginning to end. It was all there and so was I! What a day!

When I think of love, laughter and fun, I will always remember Ym and Jaidyn’s wedding.

Mr and Mrs Blackwell, may all tomorrows last A Thousand Years.

Shotgun wedding No way!!
Country wedding – Hell yeah!

What a day it was at Montumana….and before you ask where’s that….well look it up hahaha. Kate and Alex’s little slice of heaven, the place they call home.

These two have it all, an amazing farm, plenty of love, and apparently the occasional extra cow or two sneaking into the herd from time to time. Alex has learned to roll with that, thank goodness.

What a fun day this was. Was it held on a farm or at the fur family home? So many questions surrounded this day, but the biggest question of all was answered with an “I do”

And now this beautiful little farm family is officially one.

It really doesn’t get much better than this. Heaven for Kate and Alex is right here on Ranga Ranch and I was lucky enough to be part of it all.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Broos, your forever has begun.

Some people ask for coffee in bed. Some ask for Breakfast. But this morning, one beautiful couple called for their celebrant.

And so today, I had the absolute pleasure of marrying two gorgeous humans who travelled to Tasmania to tie the knot in the cosiest way possible. Tucked up in bed with their beautiful little 2 year old girl beside them.

It was relaxed, intimate, emotional, funny and completely perfect.

So yes, this morning I solemnised a marriage in my Pj's and I regret absolutely nothing.

Congratulations you three amazing humans and thank you for letting me be part of such a beautifully unique moment in your story. Can't wait to share more photos soon from the very talented Kristy L Photography. 🥂🍾🤍

Toot Toot – Here comes the train of love.

There’s arriving in style and then there’s arriving by train through the forest with Don River Railway doing what it does best.

For Lacey and Jesse, it was the perfect beginning to a lifetime together. A journey through towering trees to make their promises, with the magic of a beautiful beach on the other side. Absolutely the best of both worlds.

Alongside their gorgeous little crew, handsome Jhetson and baby Octavia, this beautiful family made it official, surrounded by the people they love the most.

And yes….there may have been a slightly premature confetti cannon moment, but honestly, it only made the laughter louder and the memories even sweeter.

A day full of love, happiness and those perfectly imperfect moments that make it all unforgettable. And what a wonderful review they gave me, feeling very grateful to be part of special moments like these.

Where do you even begin when every photo feels like the photo?

This day had it all. Love (obviously), belly laughs and the kind of family warmth that wraps right around you, especially the four-legged members.

Terry and Marcus already built a beautiful life. The kids, the home, the love. The only thing left was those two simple words and a couple of rings and so, in November, we made it official.

Willie Smith’s Apple Shed turned on the rustic charm and honestly, so did these two. The charm was absolutely overflowing.

Marcus, Terry, Tigger, Winnie and Jaspa, your world feels complete now in the best possible way. Keep the wine poured, the whisky flowing and the laughter loud. Forever looks very good on you. ❤🥂🍾❤
