Tom and Mads 🌼🌿🌸

10 years together, 3 beautiful kids, one flower-filled farm and a whole lot of love 💚

Tom and Mads first met at a BBQ after some mutual friends decided to play matchmakers. It is safe to say their friends did a brilliant job 👌

Fast forward a decade, Tom and Mads said “I do” in one of their paddocks, with sweeping views back towards their home, surrounded by their nearest and dearest people.

As a flower farmer, Mads had always dreamed of her flowers being part of the day. In the lead-up to the wedding, she was a little nervous they might not bloom in time - but honestly, it was like they knew exactly when they were needed. All her beautiful flowers came into full bloom just in time for their special day and it looked absolutely incredible.

The whole celebration felt warm, relaxed and genuinely full of love. Having their three kids standing beside them made the ceremony feel even more special. A wonderful celebration of their love and the life they have already built together.

It was such an honour to be part of this beautiful day.

As this little love-filled business continues to grow (faster than I ever imagined), I’m always looking for ways to make the planning process smoother and even easier for the couples I work with.

Which is exactly why I’ve introduced the My Celebrant App - an amazing all-in-one space for ceremony planning, timelines, questionnaires, resources, messaging and more.

I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes over the last few months transferring everything across to make the experience more streamlined and stress free.

Now… those who know me best know I absolutely LOVE a good Google Doc 😂 and trust me, I will always have a soft spot for them. But even my beloved Google Docs can’t do what this app can do.

I have included a super fast demo of some of its amazing features.

A big thank you to Vic, the celebrant who designed the platform, and to the couples who have been trialling everything with me so far.

I’m really excited for all my couples to start using it 🫶

Since officially getting together, everything just clicked for these two.

Easy conversation, plenty of laughs, and a love that feels natural and effortless.

They love travelling, exploring new places, and making memories together - but just as much, they love the simple, everyday moments too.

Their relationship is built on friendship, kindness, and a shared sense of humour that makes even the ordinary feel pretty special.

Emerson and Chelsee - it was such an honour to share your story and stand beside you as you said “I do.”

Venue spotlight: The Shearing Shed, Phillip Island

If you’re looking for a wedding venue that feels rustic, relaxed and romantic, The Shearing Shed on Phillip Island is such a great option!

I was lucky enough to marry Tim & Meagan there on the weekend and everything about it felt so nice: the setup, the atmosphere and the team (Stacey was amazing to work with 🙌).

It is a really versatile venue: indoor or outdoor ceremonies, cocktail or seated receptions, in-house catering or even get your favourite food truck to come along!

One thing my couples always seem to say about The Shearing Shed is how straightforward the planning process is. It’s all in one place with plenty of inclusions, which takes a lot of the stress out of wedding planning.

On a personal note...I might be slightly biased as The Shearing Shed reminds me so much of where my husband and I got married 🥰

Sam and Amber's ceremony was all about connection - between two people, two families, and two parts of the world.

Loved ones travelled from near, far and very far - all the way from The Netherlands and across Australia - to witness Sam and Amber say “I do”.

Their incredible love story is full of humour, heart, travel, chaos and commitment.

And on the weekend, they committed to their greatest adventure yet: marriage.

It was such a privilege to witness the love, laughter and support surrounding Sam and Amber as they began their next adventure together.

It has been a busy start to 2026 with lots of exciting couple meetings and planning sessions. 

In between mum life, I've been:

💚 Meeting new couples
💚 Checking in with current couples
💚 Writing love stories 
💚 Creating special ceremonies
💚 Organising lots of legal paperwork

As I prepare for my busiest month of weddings to date, I thought it was a good idea to share my availability for the rest of 2026.

And just when I thought I’d wrapped my head around it being 2026… 2027 is a thing!

Bookings are officially open, with March and May next year starting to fill up.

Happy Wedding Anniversary!

To my lovely husband - thank you for your constant support, for being an incredible husband, an amazing father to our children, and my biggest cheerleader. Thank you for always backing me in anything and everything I do… even when I try to squeeze a million things into every single day. I know that’s not always easy.

We were so lucky to squeeze in our wedding just before the world shut down. Little did we know that only weeks later, lockdowns would change everything (including weddings) for years to come. So many couples, including two of my best friends, had to cancel or postpone their big days, and I never take for granted how fortunate we were.

You are the kindest, most thoughtful and caring person I’ve ever met, and I feel so incredibly grateful that I get to do life with you.
