While I'm not on a sh*tbox rally I'm trying to save animals
So let's help raise awareness of the problem our state faces

Let's do better this season 🙏🏻
Be part of the solution this kitten season 💛 please don't get a give away then not do the vet work
This mess is left for others to clean up and that's not fair
Or your passing the mess on
Let's just do better 🙏🏻🐾
If you have a ferral colony living on your property don't turn a blind eye and think it's not my problem
We all need to work together
To clean up this state it's a huge mess and sad to see
Reach out and we can give great tips on helping sort the problems

Every spring we see the same thing: shelters overflowing, litters that no one planned for, and kittens struggling to find homes.

You can help stop it before it starts.

Coastal Hazard Warning
for ABNORMALLY HIGH TIDES
For people in parts of South East Forecast District.

Issued at 10:57 am Saturday, 11 July 2026.

Abnormally high tides for southern Tasmania.

Weather Situation: A low pressure system is passing south of Tasmania with an associated cold front to cross over the state on Sunday.

ABNORMALLY HIGH TIDES which may lead to sea water flooding of low-lying coastal areas likely between Southport and Tasman Island. Tides are likely to rise well above the normal high tide mark during Sunday evening high tide.

Locations which may be affected include Hobart, Huonville, Geeveston, Dover, Dodges Ferry and Lauderdale.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Supervise children closely.
* Check that family and neighbours are aware of warnings.
* Manage pets and livestock.
* Do not walk, ride or drive through flood waters.
* Be prepared in case of power outages and report any outages to TasNetworks on 132 004.
* For emergency assistance contact the SES on 132500.
