I didn’t just wake up one day and decide to become a celebrant.
This has been growing in me for years.
Working at Michael Hill, I was surrounded by love every single day. I watched nervous partners pick out engagement rings. I helped excited couples choose their wedding bands. I saw “just because” gifts, anniversary surprises, and all the little moments that make up a lifetime together.
And I realised that I wanted to be part of more than just the jewellery.
I wanted to be part of the love story itself.
I’ve only ever been to two weddings in my life, but they were enough to show me how powerful those days are. How meaningful and emotional and special they can be.
For years I’ve known I wanted more than a 9–5 job. I wanted something that fit around my life and my two boys. Something that felt purposeful. Something that brought people together in a beautiful way.
I’ve planned my own wedding in my head since I was little.. never big, never flashy, always small and meaningful. And I want to help create that same feeling for others.
Weddings can be expensive. Overwhelming. Stressful.
I want to change that.
I want to be an affordable, down-to-earth, all-in-one celebrant who makes your day feel easy, personal, and full of heart without a huge price tag.
So I finally took the leap!
I left a job that no longer brought me peace, and I started this journey. Even though I’m beginning from more than broke.
Because helping people celebrate love feels worth it.
This is my “why.”
And I can’t wait to see where it takes me 🌿❤️
