Hey, hi, hello 👋🏼
I’m back from my extended (yet eventful) hiatus.
It’s been almost 2 years 🥵 since my last post and since I stepped away from Serendipity HQ to run my parents’ business.

Since then we’ve had a whirlwind of a couple of years. Here’s a few of the highlights…
🟨 my parents’ business became my own, which I now own and operate with my accountant husband. We worked hard to change things up, rebranded, and continue to run a hugely successful small business here on the Fraser Coast.
🟨 we did IVF. We had a long fertility journey spanning from when we married in 2021. Our first round was successful.
🟨 we had TWINS. Our first successful round of IVF resulted in identical twin girls who are now 14 weeks old.

So now that we’ve been reacquainted and you’ve caught up on the tea, keep an eye on us 👀
Jayden and I have decided join forces and in the coming months will be relaunching under Haus of Serendipity, offering a range of new and improved services. In the meantime, enjoy a little fam spam.

We can’t wait for this journey, because clearly we make a brilliant bloody team 👏

Are Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets on the cards for your Friday? 🌼
From someone that's already been through the pre-sale battles, here are a few tips that've heard on the grapevine (and from experience).

My husband was the first to get on, he jumped into the lounge 3 minutes to 10am yet I'd been online since 10pm the night prior (DEDICATION OR WHAT HAHA).
He also only had a single tab or screen open, whereas the rest of my group, including me, had multiple screens going at once. I think they've done some funky s**z to boot you off the system ugh.

The moral of the story is keep calm, don't go online overnight and be positive! Someone told me to do some meditation but wine was the better option - it always seems to be! Two new shows have been released for Australia so your odds have already increased - bonusssss!

Now, I'm still working on updating my website behind the scenes but you'll be the first to know when she's ready to go. As a pure perfectionist, I want to make sure everything is simply schmiko before it goes live.
As with any brand changeover, there's a lottttttt of work to do so on top of the website updates, I'll be updating documents, designs and so much more. Rome was not built in a day friends.

Special thanks to Lauren from Seed Design Co for her incredible work putting this brand together and Mariah from Mariah Lee Creative for my stunning new images. Together, you both made this a super fun and exciting experience.

Ya girl's been flat out like a lizard drinking and I forgot to schedule this post for Friday so here we are, Sunday afternoon and you're getting it now. 😅

Luckily, us Queenslander's have a Public Holiday upon us tomorrow and we're honestly not mad about it. We all love a long weekend, but it's not just another three days off. Labour Day is a day dedicated to recognising workers' contributions towards the nation's economy. Thank you to everyone who works hard to make the world tick. And to those who are working even today, an extra thanks to you!

The 2022 showcase saw record numbers in both vendors and attendance for any wedding industry event in the Fraser Coast and this year we hope to break that record again.

On this solemn day, we come together as a nation to remember and honour the brave men and women who have served our country with selflessness, courage, and sacrifice. Their unwavering commitment to our freedom and way of life will forever be etched in our hearts and minds.
ANZAC Day is a time to reflect on the incredible sacrifices made by those who have served our country in times of war and peace. We remember the countless acts of heroism, the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood formed under fire, and the legacy they have left for generations to come.
As we pause to pay our respects to those who have given their all for our country, we must also acknowledge the profound impact their service has had on our society. ANZAC Day reminds us of the importance of community, compassion, and resilience in the face of adversity.
So today, as we stand together to remember the sacrifices of the ANZACs, let us also reflect on the values that they embodied. Let us strive to uphold their legacy of courage, selflessness, and commitment to a greater cause. And let us never forget the sacrifices made by those who have served our country with honor and distinction.

I have been avoiding this post like a plague of epic proportions for at least a week, so here goes.
I wanted to use this post as a bit of a sum up of the last year, Serendipity's first year. But sis, here's the thing... it's been that big of a year, we gonna run out of usable characters for this caption before November.

Please also note for the record that I just attempted to list all the feelings, but that's not gonna work either. Just know that I've felt all the feels...

I'm so freaking proud of what I created, knowing that I put my all into this business which lead to me becoming fully booked out and a busy, busy, busy bee. I had huge days, late nights and even sleepless nights but the end result was worth it.

Despite some seriously rough times, the one thing that I always come back to is the incredible PEOPLE that I've encountered over the last 12 months. I'm eternally grateful for my new and improved circle, they're my energy, my life, they fuel my passions and support me like they're family. And yes, we're going to list a few key players below:
