These special memorial flowers comprising of roses, chrysanthemum, carnations, baby's breath, and delicate foliage were a perfect resin project. Each one was dried carefully in silica gel, then I planned out the design on a template before being placed into the mould for resin.

The planning stage is one of the most important steps. Every bloom gets positioned by hand, making sure the arrangement feels balanced and honours the original flowers.

Fresh bouquet vs preserved dome. Same flowers, different chapter.
Brodi's bouquet by was full of pale pink roses, peach orchids, bright pink dahlias and stock. After weeks in silica gel, the colours have shifted into something warmer and moodier — the pinks deepened, the peach orchids turned a rich amber, and the dahlias kept their striking pink.
This is what 3D preservation looks like. Not pressed flat. The actual flowers from your wedding day, dried and arranged into a glass dome you can display at home.

A bouquet like this is both exciting and nerve-wracking to preserve. So many different flower types means every bloom needs a different approach. The orchids need the most care but I'm super excited to see how this one turns out.

put together such a thoughtfully designed piece for Madi 🤍 The dusty miller was the hero. Its soft fuzzy texture and grey-green tone brought dimension to what could have been a very flat palette, and paired with the sage silk ribbon it made the neutrals feel intentional rather than washed out.

The dusty miller and eucalyptus did all the heavy lifting in this one. Soft, silvery, sage-toned foliage that gave the whole piece its depth. Paired with the ribbon, the neutrals somehow felt richer, not flatter.
Every project teaches me something new about how to make blooms sing once they’re in the frame.
