SIX YEARS OF PETAL AND FIG! 🧀✨

Today marks 6 whole years since I decided to turn my love for cheese, styling, and pretty little details into a full-blown business – and what a wild ride it’s been!

To every single one of you who’s let me brie a part of your special moments – THANK YOU. Whether it was a dreamy wedding, birthday bash, or boujee picnic in the park, your trust means the absolute world and has kept this business of mine thriving.

To all the incredible vendors I've met along the way – you’re all amazing. Creative, kind, and always down for a collab. I couldn’t have done this without such a supportive community by my side!

Running a small biz is not always brie-zy 🫠
I’m the one behind the scenes AND the scenes – answering emails, styling platters, scrubbing boards, doing the books and bringing the vibes. It's chaotic. It's magical. It's exhausting. But damn, it’s rewarding.

The next chapter is already looking HUGE –

🧀 More Graze & Sip workshops are on the way
💍 Wedding bookings into 2027 (what even?!)
🎉 And we’re off to our first EXPO!

So grateful. So excited. So ready to keep making edible art for your most memorable moments.

Hey cheese lovers,

Petal and Fig is approaching our 6th birthday, and I thought it was about time I introduced myself again for all our new cheesy followers.

I'm Ash!
A couple of facts about me.
🧀I'm 34.
🧀I have 3 boys 2,5&9.
🧀Our life mostly revolves around Drs appts (our middle child has alopecia, he has also had 5 different surgeries in the last 2 years, a broken leg & ongoing speech therapy 🤕 - that's a lot of appointments) & basketball. Between hubbys Monday night games & our eldest playing local & Rep we're pretty busy (I can't imagine when all 3 are in school!!)
🧀Hubby & I got married in Uluwatu, Bali, in 2018.
Then, the legal ceremony when we returned home at the Botanic Gardens in Melbourne, with my Nana & Hubbys Papa as our witnesses 🤍🫶
🧀In 2010, I studied creative arts at uni & did a year in San Francisco at SFSU studying film & television.
Then, in a random turn of events, I came home to start my journey as a Building estimator back in 2011.
I'm still working 4 days a week as an estimator now.
🧀6 years ago, I started Petal and Fig & a quick scroll through my feed will bring you up to today, where I absolutely love getting to create brie-utiful grazes for your special events 🙌

Introducing our beautiful Grazing Cart ✨️

Will be available for hire soon!

What would you use it for? Think.. grazing bar, mimosa bar, brunch bar, lolly bar.. there are so many fun options!!

Can be hired as cart only, DIY service or with a server (me!) making beautiful boards for all your guests 🙌

Next weekend, I'm hosting a ✨️ Ladies Day Graze and Sip ✨️ for my son's school community. We're raising money to go towards a new playground & getting to enjoy some beautiful cheese and wine in the process!

So far we have sold 35 tickets and I can't wait to host another amazing afternoon filled with good company, laughter, cheese and of course bubbles 🥂
