And just like that… wedding season is calling! 💍🥂
Next weekend kicks off the spring/summer wedding season and, while I’ve absolutely LOVED my time off, I’m ready! 🙌🏼
The break has been a godsend — time with the roadie ❤️, time with the kids, catching up with some very good friends… and, best of all, SLEEP-INS! 😴😂
I’ve rested. I’ve recharged. I’ve relaxed.
Now bring on the weddings, the love stories, the happy tears, the laughs and all the fabulous couples! 💍❤️
The celebrant is READY. Let’s do this! 🥂

The rest? Fluff. 😉

Walking in? Optional.
Walking out? Optional.
Love Story? Optional.
Personal vows? Optional.
Rings? Yep… also optional!

Want all the bells and whistles? Bring them on!
Want to keep it short, sweet and very you? Bloody love that too.
There’s no ceremony rule book.
Do what feels right. Ditch what doesn’t.
Your wedding. Your way. 💍❤️

Now go find your celebrant!
And not just any celebrant… find one you bloody vibe with! 😜
Yes, $$ matter. Of course they do.
But you’ll spend $$$$ on the venue, $$$ on the photographer, $$ on flowers and let’s not even talk about the cake! 😂
So why skimp on the person who is literally standing up the front, setting the tone and telling your story?
Find someone who gets you. Makes you laugh. Makes you feel comfortable.
Someone who makes you think… “Yep. They get us!”
Because your ceremony shouldn’t just tick the legal boxes.
It should feel like YOU. ❤️

I can finally share a photo from last weekend’s gorgeous wedding with Stacey & Jamie! ❤️

What a fun day at Stockade Botanic Park — beautiful surrounds, lots of laughs, and mosquitoes so bloody big they could’ve had saddles and been ridden! 🦟😂

Despite the tiny flying vampires, it was an absolute cracker of a wedding and such a joy to be part of.

#1 Son is home for a few days to watch his Dees take on Port… but naturally, I’m choosing to believe he came home because he missed Mum & Dad. 😂❤️
Brunch today turned into a lovely little celebrant moment when we bumped into Holly & Callum, who I married just a month ago.
Big hugs. Thank yous. AND they told #1 Son he’s lucky to have me. 😘
Well… I’ll take that! 😂❤️
Thanks for lunch, gorgeous people! Enjoy your holiday, send photos… and keep telling my kids how lucky they are. 😉😂

Today’s wedding at Stockade Botanical Park was full of love, laughter and… MOSQUITOES! 🦟😂

Apparently my perfume wasn’t enough! 😜
So, there’s a new addition to the travelling celebrant suitcase: MOSQUITO REPELLENT!

Because apparently the little buggers now require their own wedding-day survival plan. 😂

Kim & Paul had originally planned a wedding surrounded by their loved ones… then decided, “Nah, let’s just make it us!” ❤️
So they booked an Airbnb at Manna Vale Farm and got married their way. 💍🥂
Mother Nature decided to join the party too, with a few tears from above and some very crisp, wet weather! 🌧️😂 But it certainly didn’t dampen their enthusiasm.
Kim & Paul were fun, fabulous and VERY much in love. ❤️
In fact, between the kissing and the giggling, Blake, the roadie and I were starting to think we should probably leave them to it! 😜

I’m loved!! 🥰❤️
Sue & John said some lovely things about me after their Legals Only ceremony at Charles Sturt Cottage — and honestly, I’ll take the compliments! 🤭
With the help of the roadie, their two very dapper puppies 🐶🐶 and photographer extraordinaire Blake from Kinetic Vision Photography & Video, we got them officially married… and apparently I did alright! 😉
There’s nothing quite like knowing you’ve made a couple’s day feel special. ❤️
