This was the perfect representation of everything I'm always banging on about.
Death positivity.
Death Prep.
VAD and the right to choose how to die.
So, so beautiful, watch it and smile.. then weep.

I know I'm preaching to the choir... but still, this article is an excellent reminder of why we need to WRITE OUR WISHES DOWN!!!!

Dying is difficult, a nurse told me. It might have been even more appalling had Dad not been clear about his wishes. Yet most of us remain deeply reluctant to outline how we want the end to go

I was sent this article and after finally reading it, realised how relevant the conversation is to death cafe communities.

What are your thoughts on conversations with doctors about end of life, rather than simply trying to stay alive at all costs?

Holistic care for incurably ill people has to include discussions about death and dying – but getting there is hard

I'm one step closer to becoming the veggie garden I always dreamed of...

Starting in NSW, I'm wanting with baited breath to see if the bill is passed.

https://www.abc.net.au/listen/programs/the-radio-national-hour/new-bill-aims-to-offer-alternative-to-burial-and-cremation/106829220?fbclid=IwY2xjawSpRxVleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEeBgZcYAI3SPBCm7MwLkrTwit8ya3pVYumK4oGrZrr9uGIv4YOK-gcNNL3i2U_aem_rccGdNk4hpUKVbbjDsuAQg

A private member’s bill is giving new meaning to the expression pushing up daisies. Human composting, or 'terramation' is an ecological alternative to traditional burials that has been pioneered in America and Germany.

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to be invited to 88.3 Southern FM to talk all things South Side Death Cafe.
Here's a little excerpt... enjoy!

Please note, not a flattering photo, but check out my made-to-order jumper as created by my mother... she was never one for understating fashion!

Although the table was bursting at the seams with 16 attendees, the conversion flowed easily, with everyone giving space and time for others to speak.
