Wow… what an absolutely incredible day! 🩷
Still pinching myself!
From a spark of inspiration to a full-blown vision — and then seeing it all come to life — it honestly felt surreal. There were so many moments I just stood there thinking, “Wow… I actually did this.” Definitely a true pinch-me moment!
A sea of pink dresses, inspiring guest speakers, our rockin’ MC, beautiful Stallholders, 30 amazing raffle prizes (thank you to all our Multi-Draw Donors), a live auction, great music that set the perfect vibe, delicious food from our amazing caterers, and cocktails that kept the party flowing 🍸💃 — set against the beautiful garden backdrop of the Junction Hotel, the day was everything I hoped for and more.
None of it would’ve been possible without my incredible army of helpers who set up, packed down, and kept things running smoothly (you know who you are!). 💪 A special mention to my friend Cort for absolutely everything you did to help me on the day. 💫
A huge shoutout to my mum aka SUPERSTAR, dad for helping me with props, and of course my husband Brett for all your patience and support — thank you to all of you for believing in me and backing this vision from day one. 💕
A big thank you to our Event Sponsors who contributed to the success of the event with their generosity: JNT Accounting, TGT Agricultural, Rural, Irrigation & Hardware Supplies, Dimbulah Lions Club, Dimbulah Chemist, Community Bank Mareeba and Dimbulah, Tableland Party Hire, Far North Fresh and Shane Knuth MP.
Beautiful moments were captured perfectly by our talented photographers, Emma Lee and Kelly — thank you for helping us relive the day through your lens. 📸
We battled the Dimbulah heat and then, when the skies opened up, something magical happened — everyone pulled together, packing up stalls, dismantling tents, moving tables. The rain couldn’t dampen our spirits; instead, it showed the true power of women uniting. That moment of teamwork and resilience was unforgettable. 🙌
But the real superstars of the day were YOU — the incredible group of women who came together for a common cause: to raise awareness and funds for the McGrath Foundation. 💕
Because of your generosity, I’m beyond proud to say that our very first Flock in Frocks event raised a massive $9,706.00 — every cent going directly to the McGrath Foundation.🎀 (this amount does not include donations made directly via our fundraising link or the $1000 board we are still running)
What an achievement! I think it’s safe to say Flock in Frocks has made its mark… and something tells me this is just the beginning. 😉
Thank you all so much for showing up with open hearts, incredible energy, and generous spirits. You made this day everything I dreamed it could be and more all for such a wonderful cause.
So much love,
Nat 💕
Ps. Did you miss our event? We still have our $1000 board running with a few tickets left — grab yours at Camp 64 in Dimbulah. Once they’re all sold, we’ll draw the winner! Can't get to Dimbulah? Thats ok, you can donate directly to our fundraising via the link in our bio. 💫
