Marrying Jade and Joshua was an absolute hoot and a genuine honour. These two took everything in their stride and I mean everything! A venue change, guest list shake-ups, and even Jade’s dream dress being ruined just days before the big day. But none of it could shake them.
Instead of stressing, they focused on what truly mattered each other.
High school sweethearts with an unbreakable bond, their vows said it all: they’re each other’s rock, best friend, and whole world. Love shows up in many ways, but the depth between these two? It was something really special. They were open, real, and let me in with full trust.
I actually shed happy tears in the car on the way home (the kind you have to hold in while standing in front of a crowd). That’s only happened a few times. It felt like the end of a beautiful chapter — I call it my “couple breakup” 😅 But it’s not goodbye with these two, just see you later.
And then… the next night I got a call from the bride’s mum. I’d complimented her gorgeous winter coat at the wedding, and she told me she’d send me the link. But instead? She called to gift it to me. She said she’d bought it just for the wedding and wanted me to have it a thank-you for everything I’d done and for the beautiful, fun ceremony I delivered for her daughter and now son-in-law. Cue more happy tears. 🥹
Moments like that remind me that this is so much more than just a job.
Thank you Jade & Josh for letting me walk beside you. I’m the lucky one. 💛
