The idea of Sticky Tickets was born from an actual event one of the company directors held in 2006. Noticing an underserved niche in the Australian events ticketing market, he joined with two other entrepreneurs and surveyed hundreds of individuals, organisations and event managers to see what they would ideally like in a system. All this core functionality has been included in Sticky Tickets and new tools are added constantly as we continue to gather feedback from our users.
In terms of functionality, Sticky Tickets processes the credit card purchases and distributes eTickets and receipts automatically to the ticket buyers. We also help event organisers to maintain control of their event by collating all attendee lists and sales figures in easy-to-read and manageable formats via online member accounts – essentially streamlining the sales and admin process.
For managing access points to your events a Free scanning App is available to streamline the entry of people into the venue.
We have been in operation since July 2007 and have gone from strength to strength in this time acquiring thousands of organisers and tens of thousands of members Australia wide, who view our site regularly for up-to-date information on the latest events and entertainment. Ultimately, this provides our users with invaluable, free publicity on a national level.
