Over the weekend, the Australasian Woodscape event came to life — and what a fantastic success it was.

The event proudly showcased the skill, patience and passion of local craftsmanship, with one of the standout highlights being the Model Ships and Restored Watercraft Exhibition. From beautifully detailed handcrafted model ships to restored timber boats and watercraft, the exhibition captured the stories, history and artistry behind traditional woodcraft.

It was wonderful to see so many people taking the time to admire the workmanship and connect with the makers, stories and community spirit behind each piece.

The weekend also marked the successful launch of Grain & Graze, our new Australian timber kitchenware brand. The response was incredible, with strong interest in our handcrafted chopping, serving and grazing boards made from quality Australian timber.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited, supported, exhibited, volunteered and helped bring this event together.

Australasian Woodscape is about more than timber — it is about preserving skills, celebrating makers, sharing stories and keeping Australian woodcraft alive.

The Timber Haven Project — Boat Restoration Program

On display soon: The Spanish Galleon, an 18th-century Man-of-War / Ship of the Line.

This incredible vessel is part of our latest Boat & Ship Restoration Program, where donated wooden boats, ships and maritime craft are restored through hands-on woodcraft, mentoring and community connection.

The Timber Haven Project is a voluntary not-for-profit community initiative supporting wellbeing, recovery and purpose through meaningful practical work.
