I have recently become obsessed with the tea experince again but this time around i want to bring you tea as raw and un procesed as it gets , I like to use every single part of the plant waste not and return what I can to nature itself .
So this is the first of a series of flowering teas id like to release . First up is lavender
Shes a beautiful plant and while we have flowering teas in abundance this season i think we should celebrate how beautiful they are .
A single stem of naturally dried and stripped lavender equals about 10g or a teaspoon of lavendar tea . Normally id grab a bunch and pack it all into a 50-250g bag lable it and call it a day
This is a single stem stripped placed perfectly into a glass test tube dispenser , no mess no need for scoops just pop the corck and pop the bud into boiling water to steep for 5-10 mins
Instead of using a tea bag , stirr from the tube or remove from tube and stir from the flowers stem itself .
The leaves and individual buds that fell during the packaging process have been infused into rice oil and added to bees wax for a soothing hand balm just perfect to moistureise and rejuvinate after a day digging in the garden 😍
