It gives us great pleasure to introduce this years People's Choice Award winner voted by you the people at the 2026 Australian Hearse Nationals. This award category was sponsored by Thompson Family Funerals of Castlemaine.

This year for the second year in a row we introduce Rod Hadfield's amazing Dodge Hearse.

This hearse actually decided to play silly buggers on the way to Maldon on the Sunday morning. But with the expertise of Rod and his mechanic they made it just in time to tag onto the back of the last lap of the Parade.

We seem to be getting a lot of people asking if any hearses are for sale.

This is not the page for wanted and for sale advertisements. There is a great page called the Hearse Owners Club of Australia that is a very large Australian based community. There are hearses that regularly come up for sale on that page.

This 1963 Chev Belair owned by Simon Law & Kayleen Law of Milton Ulladulla Funerals on the South Coast of NSW is a stunning example. This beautiful hearse is still in service and carries that wonderful old V8 note.
