TIM + LU 🤍 01.08.26

Some wedding days just seem to have a little extra magic written into them ✨

Tim and Lu’s day brought a few scattered rain showers, one right before the ceremony was due to start. But as Lu and her wedding party walked down the aisle, the sun came out from behind the clouds. And as they say, there’s always a little beauty that comes after the rain. And for these two, it came in the form of FOUR rainbows! 🌈

I am currently on holidays, soaking up some much needed downtime with my fam and will be returning on 25th July.

Some celebrants hand our tissues…I hand out VB air car fresheners 😂

When I learned that VB was part of Camilla and Ryan’s origin story, I knew that would be the perfect opportunity to give Ryan a cheeky little gift as a memento.

How was it part of their story I hear you ask? Well, in an epic move, Camilla sculled a schooner of Ryan’s favourite beer (you guessed it, VB) just to impress him, and hey, it must have worked…even if that was the very last time Camilla has ever touched a VB!

Yesterday I got to swap the microphone for a seat in the crowd, and it was pretty damn special!

As a celebrant, I’m usually the one standing at the front doing the honours - but getting to sit back, soak it all in, shed tears of happiness and witness two beautiful people get married as a guest hit very differently. What a privilege to experience love from the other side for a change 🤍

This can make a 𝙝𝙪𝙜𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 to how your day feels behind the scenes, and honestly, couples don’t realise just how valuable it is until the wedding has arrived.

So, what are the benefits I hear you ask?…

✨ Less stress for you - we communicate easily with each other and often solve problems before you even knew they existed!
✨ More seamless content and photos - as a celebrant, I will position myself to ensure I don’t block key shots, and a photographer and videographer who work well together and allow space for one another to do their thing.
