I'm in Brisbane this week, as it's a Parliament sitting week, so I couldn't drop in to have morning tea with some of our city's fantastic nurses on International Nurses Day.
Fortunately, Cakes Annietime came to the rescue and delivered these delicious treats to the team!
Today, and every day, I send my sincere thanks to all the hardworking nurses and health staff who sacrifice so much to deliver health and dignity to us during times of need.
Beautiful, thankyou for making her 21st special. You make the most beautiful, and taste cakes.

Mark & Rita's story began back in 2013 when they met on a motorbike course and the proposal happened on the Rex lookout while on a ride together, so of course the bikes had to be a part of their wedding day!
The entire wedding day was at the Sugar Wharf on a perfect blue sky day( yes, pun intended :)) It was a little on the warm side but the views from the Sugar Wharf were just incredible.
Mark and Rita are friends of ours from the gym we go to ( .gym_cairns ) and its so good to be able to photograph them and meet their guests. You really get to see so much of who people are when you photograph them and they really are such lovely people. Thankyou Mark and Rita, for asking us, it was so good to spend the day with you all!

3 attempts to get married, venue changes and all of the hassles of a covid wedding ended up being a spectacular success for Amanda & Jason. Due to covid, Amandas family could not be present but they were back in Bathurst watching the live stream of their wedding and had some beautiful recorded speeches that had everyone crying. They surrounded themselves with Jasons family and their friends from north QLD and partied right to the end of the night, making the most it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And to top it all off, they had this epic sunset! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I remembered Amanda saying that the property owner was going to be planting some sunflowers, so when I drove in and saw them I knew we were going to be coming back to use them. I just didnt know that we would have this amazing light.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Ness and Elliot got married at the beautiful Colonial Club Resort in Cairns. I got married here myself in 2013, so it was lovely to go back to photograph someone else’s wedding here! We also had the same cake vendor! What are the odds! Anyways, this was such a lovely wedding, incredibly fun and colourful! And Oh my god that dress!
The vibe at Ness and Elliots wedding was just fantastic, everyone had such a great time and they had such a lovely group of family and friends. Lots of love and laughter with both happy and sad tears throughout some lovely speeches. They also had a lovely video with lots of messages from the people who couldn’t make it to Cairns for the wedding.

Every photographer has their favourite place to shoot, and Ellis Beach is right up there for me with it's magical backdrop - how awesome is nature! I will never tire of this place!
This wedding was intimate, stylish, creative and unique! Each detail was thoughtfully planned out, and I had a blast photographing it all. The gorgeous wedding party was not opposed to a good laugh and some fun!
Congratulations to two beautiful people (inside and out) who officially tied the knot after 17 years! You two are amazing, and I wish you all the happiness in the world! What a party you threw to celebrate your love!
