One more wedding this Saturday for the most gorgeous couple 🤍

Then I’m out of office from 29th March until mid May celebrating my 30th all through April 🥂 (because one day isn’t enough) and a then little operation at the end of April (because apparently you start to fall apart when you reach 30)

Oh wow… 106 weddings 🤍
And somehow, I still get a little nervous before every single one.
I’ve had the absolute honour of marrying my sisters, my cousins, my friends… and couples who have trusted me with one of the most important moments of their lives. I’ve met the most incredible vendors along the way too, some of the kindest, most talented humans who make this industry so special.
I’m so proud of what I’ve created, not just a job, but something that feels deeply meaningful and so aligned with my heart.
Getting to know my couples and tell their love stories in a way that feels honest and completely them is something I’ll never take for granted.
Storytelling is what brings us together. It’s what makes a ceremony feel real. And it’s the greatest privilege to stand there and share it.
And yes… I do love the little perks, like having the perfect excuse to buy a new dress every now and then hehe

My man was my absolute lifesaver at our friend's wedding in Albany this weekend ❤ We had a little rain before the ceremony and he did everything he could to help me out. He tried to keep me dry (curly-haired girls, you know the struggle when the frizz hits). He kept their personal vows safe and dry, along with my other important papers, and even though he was super nervous, he nailed pressing play for their final ceremony song.

Come to think of it, he's been my biggest supporter for every wedding I’ve done. He helps pack my equipment into the car, always wishes me good luck before a ceremony, and checks in afterward to see how everything went. He's stepped in as a witness for a few of my couples, handled the ceremony music (despite it giving him anxiety – sorry!) he’s played the role of the ring bearer and listened to me rehearse my scripts a million times.

As most of you know, we just got back from celebrating his 30th birthday in Japan, but I think I’ll celebrate Ashley for the rest of my life because he's the best.

(Don't worry my ugg boots only came out AFTER the ceremony 🤣)
