Through Music We Meet turned 1 yesterday 🥲
Here’s a random collection of photos and videos from some of the events over the last year, in no particular order. Looking back through my camera roll, I’ve realised just how many memories we’ve made along the way.
It’s mad to think that when I decided to put on that first event, I knew about three people in Brisbane, having moved from London. I spent most nights out in Fortitude Valley until silly hours handing out flyers and telling people about it, and we ended up with over 200 people coming through the door.
Thankfully, I don’t have to be out handing out flyers every night anymore 😂 We’ve built a solid community over the last year, which has made such a difference. Although I’m still a bit of a sucker for old school flyering 👀
Over the last year we’ve done day parties, club nights, rooftop events, boat parties, pop ups, meet ups, live streams and more, and it’s been such a fun journey!
A massive thank you to everyone who’s been a part of it over the last year. The DJs, photographers, venues, everyone who’s helped behind the scenes and, of course, everyone who’s come along to the events, whether you came with your mates or on your own to meet some new people.
Really appreciate all the support so far. Looking forward to what’s to come ❤️
