Friends say I have such an expressive face that you can read my mind from across a room.... so can you do it through a screen? Is the "f*ck yeah" I was feeling here evident on my cheeky mug?

I will never tire of reliving these events through the unparalleled lens of 📸 the man has such a gift for taking me right back into the magic of communion, creativity and community.

What an incredible weekend we had celebrating and all that she does and is. It was so wonderful to get together with so many friends, old and new, to show Smishy some love on her sendoff. She is leaving behind some massive shoes to fill, but also a trail of connections, inspiration, lessons and love in her wake.

Fun little Friday afternoon sesh at with my .and.decks girl gang 🥰 we were joined by the delightful who got some snaps mid-spin.

To any femme-identifying humans that are in the Brisbane area and interested in DJing, I HIGHLY recommend checking out a C&D event. They have amazing workshops, super fun meetups and open decks events.

The founder is an incredible mentor, facilitator and all around creative powerhouse of a human being. It's an inspiration to see her pour her heart and soul into this incredible community she's created.

I've met so many wonderful humans through this group. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and inclusive. Their next workshop is coming up on April 25th - an R&B workshop in collaboration with the legendary crew! Check their pages for deets and come join the party 🥳

A little throwback to peak pandemic times popped up on my FB memories today.

Our local karaoke host made a Facebook karaoke group. Each week he would post a theme, and then all of us would go off separately and record ourselves doing karaoke to a song in the week's theme. People got WAAAAY into it - doing full costumes with set dressing and everything. We would upload the videos to the group and enjoy watching the mess and magic together.

What was a pretty strange, scary and uncertain time became a vehicle for some very creative ways to stay connected to each other. Injecting some silliness and self expression into the mix brought some really special moments.

Not pictured here: the time I painted myself blue and made bird wings and a beak out of construction paper so I could play the part of Zazu in one video, while my friend recorded himself doing the parts of Simba. We stitched the videos together and did a long distance duet of "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" from our separate houses 😂

When you and your bestie are just so ✨in sync✨

Tried lots of new things for my Neverland 2.0 set - some new styles and some big BPM jumps that definitely stretched my skills but the journey of learning things and finding new tunes that light up my soul is soooo exquisite. Plus getting to perform alongside my favourite human and creative inspiration is a whole new level of fulfillment.

I know I never stop saying it, but this community has my heart overflowing with such constant and overwhelming gratitude. I just love you guys 🥰
