Sometimes the weather likes to keep us guessing… but today at Scarborough Beach it all came together perfectly.

After so much rain leading up to the ceremony, we were treated to a few beautiful rainbows, the clouds finally cleared, and the sunshine arrived right on cue for this gorgeous Micro-Wedding with .brisbane

This lovely couple planned their wedding many months ago, keeping things simple, relaxed and completely focused on what mattered most to them, marrying each other surrounded by their immediate family, followed by a celebratory lunch.

No fuss. No pressure. Just a meaningful, intimate wedding day. They were sooo happy and totally loved up.

And now… they’re off to Fiji for their honeymoon.
Honestly, the perfect ending to the perfect day.

Earlier today I did some marrying at Paddington.

A quick, easy and love-filled ‘Legals Only’ wedding ceremony at Trammies Corner… with that fabulous Brisbane city view.

No fuss. No stress. Just the two of them making it official and walking away very, very happy 🥂

This morning I had the privilege of attending a beautiful Sri Lankan Buddhist wedding ceremony held at the Goodna Temple here in Queensland.

As an authorised marriage celebrant, my role today was to oversee the legal side of the marriage, ensuring the couple’s union is legally recognised under Australian law, while their cultural and spiritual ceremony unfolded around them.

The ceremony itself was a traditional Poruwa Ceremony, rich in symbolism, tradition and meaning. I arrived towards the end of that ceremony and was absolutely blown away by the incredible outfits, the peaceful temple setting, and the warmth and joy surrounding the couple and their families.

One particularly special moment was signing the marriage register at exactly 9:57am — an auspicious time chosen especially for the couple.

After the legal formalities were complete, the celebrations continued with photos, family, laughter and festivities. I’m hoping to share more images from the day later on, but in the meantime, here’s a little glimpse of the beautiful setting and surrounds.

I feel incredibly honoured to witness and support couples from all walks of life and cultures as they celebrate marriage in ways that are deeply meaningful to them.

Hey it’s your favourite here, heading into another week of spectacular weddings!

And what better way to get our strut on, than with the amazing behind the camera, who certainly made us feel pretty fab recently at while we held up cyclists and runners alike as we took over the pathways posing!

Back from a little break and feeling refreshed!!

Straight into this beautiful day at Mt Coot-Tha for a gorgeous Elope Brisbane ceremony… and honestly, what a way to return. 😍
