Oh what a honor it was to be a part of a simple yet heartfelt legals-only ceremony for Sandra and Denny. From my ‘Sign ‘n’ Seal’ location options, they chose my local park in Gordon Park, with their absolute nearest and dearest. The happy couple opted for an intimate ceremony ahead of their larger cultural wedding the next day.

Such a lovely morning and their parents were filled with pride.

- The freedom to choose where you say "I do" (no government office required!)
- A fully legal marriage - quick, simple, and official.

Perfect for couples who just want to ‘get it done’ or have bigger plans for later, maybe getting married overseas for instance. You may need to marry for visa requirements, like working overseas, or immigration. You’re on a budget? Or simply want nothing more. Either way, I make sure it’s easy, warm, and totally you!

DID YOU KNOW....?? To legally marry, you just need to exchange a few key legal words and if that’s all you want to say, that’s totally fine! 💕New Blog💕 Matt & Mason’s stylish Micro Wedding
When I first spoke with Matt & Mason about their plans to get married in Brisbane with their absolutely nearest and dearest, they thought a ‘Legals Only’ ceremony would be the way to go. But after getting to know them a little, learning how much their family meant to them, and their original plans for a big wedding pre-covid, we came to realise that their day deserved so much more than just the formalities. It was agreed nothing too elaborate, but still a heartfelt, intimate celebration would be perfect… and that exactly what they had.

Fifteen years, hundreds of weddings, and countless love stories later, I still get that same spark of excitement before every ceremony. Being a celebrant isn’t just about standing at the front and saying a few words- it’s about creating a moment that feels just right for every couple.

It’s the quiet reassurance I offer to a nervous groom before he sees his partner walk down the aisle. It’s the shared laughter when a cheeky inside joke makes it into the vows. It’s the tearful glances between soulmates as they promise forever. It’s the little moments that make every wedding uniquely beautiful.

I’ve always believed that love should be celebrated in a way that feels authentically you - whether that’s an intimate elopement by the bay, a fun-filled ceremony with a surprise twist, or a grand celebration surrounded by family and friends. No two couples are the same, and that’s what makes my job so special.

Always love to see past loved-up couples on socials.
Maddie and Caleb’s wedding at Victoria Park was all about making their ceremony their own. Their friend Robbie led the way, while I worked behind the scenes - helping craft the script, coordinating the flow, including attending their rehearsal, and stepping in briefly for the legal formalities.

This concept is becoming more popular, giving couples the best of both worlds: a personal touch with professional support. Maddie and Caleb found me through , and it was an absolute joy to be a part of their day.
