IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT: If you play with us on Wednesdays, please come EARLY this week! Trivia will start at 6:30pm at Fair Play Kitchen in Chelmer, wrapping up at 8pm when the screens will switch over to watch the game live and loud! We encourage you to stick around after the quiz to cheer on the maroons.

ALSO: If you're a Wednesday regular, you'll know (and love) Elliott, the capabable man behind the bar. This week will be Elliott's last trivia night at Fair Play before he moves on to a new role at another venue, so be sure to say goodbye if you get a chance.

This week it will help to bring your team's History buff, and perhaps a three-sided coin to help your decisions with some Multiple Choice. Plus of course, one of tonight's questions will be related to the question above regarding Annie Lennox in her post-Eurythmics career.

Time for the 21st quiz of 2026! This week will bring the usual range of topics and categories to test yourself against, celebrating the many things that you all know, and hopefully adding some new knowledge on the way. Amongst this mix this week, we'll ask you to name the Ipswich-born author and journalist whose most recent novel, 'Gravity Let Me Go' was published last year.

Thursday 20th May is International Tea Day! And everyone knows that China and India are the leading countries when it comes to tea production, but this week you'll earn an easy 10 points if you can name the (perhaps surprising?) country that comes third on the list. Tuesday night's quiz this week is a special fundraiser for Carindale Hope Hub, on the theme of Women in History, but Wednesday and Thursday will follow our usual format. ALL events will include a question relating to this week's Social Studies topic, so you'd be wise to learn a little about Katherine Johnson and her out-of-this-world work!

If you're playing at Carindale, bring a generous spirit and purchase some raffle tickets to support the work of a local charity that makes a real difference for women in Brisbane.
