Another Sunday, another stunning Brisbane wedding location!

Closing out another big week of weddings, hitching a lovely couple at beautiful Newstead Park!

Right here on the northside of Brissie, with the Brisbane River, towering palms and those gorgeous views.
Not a bad backdrop for saying “I do”!

Such a beautiful little pocket of Brisbane for an intimate elopement, made even more special by the truly heartfelt words shared in their vows.

And a place that holds a few special memories of my own, too.

Another happy couple hitched, another beautiful memory made, and another big week of doing what I love wrapped up!

Not a bad view for tonight’s elopement!

Today’s office came with a rooftop, a spectacular Brisbane sunset and two people plus a handful of their favourite people ready to say I do!

And here’s the thing about elopements…
They don’t need to be big to be beautiful.

No huge guest list. No months of planning every little detail.
No fuss.

Just two people, a whole lot of love, a handful of their favourite humans and a moment that’s entirely theirs.

The lesson? Your wedding doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.

Big, small or somewhere in between, the magic is in making it YOURS.

And today’s payoff?

One newly married couple, a pretty spectacular sunset and a reminder that sometimes, keeping things simple is absolutely perfect.

Another day at the office… 💍✨

Although, when the office looks like this, there are definitely worse places to be.

Another beautiful couple.
Another “I do”.
Another little moment I get to have the absolute privilege of being part of.

Spring wedding season is well and truly ON — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Celebrant life.
Best seat in the house.
Every single time.

And that pretty much sums up the current state of play over here…

September Spring Wedding Season got me GOOD! 💒💐

Some 2,900kms travelled, a whole lot of weddings, a whole lot of beautiful couples, and not quite enough hours in the day.

So today, I’m playing catch-up with life admin, getting myself back into the office and attempting to restore some kind of order to my life.

And by order, I mostly mean dealing with THE FLOOR / SPARE WARDROBE.
You know the one.
The place where everything gets thrown when life gets hectic.

I just need a few hours to recalibrate, catch up and get life back on track.
