Friday night will be soundtracked by your host, The D Word, who will be bringing the disco heat to Ellington's.

Kicking off from 8pm until midnight, this will be the hottest disco in town.

Swish is back for a disco affair upstairs of on Friday 5 September

Kicking off at 8pm, we will be getting our groove on til midnight, playing some of the best tunes from the 1970s and 1980s.

Tickets are $10 on the door and any disco requests you may have, please send us a message. ;)

ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT:

created Swish as a means to bring the regional LGBTIQA+ community together, starting locally within Ballarat and the surrounds.

Having run several q***r parties over the past 7 years including Piu Disco and Homo's PlayHouse, he is keen to bring the q***r community together regardless of location and providing a safe space for us to dance and have a sing-a-long.

DJing and also hosting the night, come say hello for a cheeky yarn xx

Sugar Plump Fairy has been DJing in Melbourne and beyond for the last 20 years and currently runs , has supported the likes of DJ Spen, Ron Carroll, Prosumer and Sandy Rivera, and for several years provided the soundtrack to Club 80.

ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT:

Cameron is in demand as a musical director, accompanist, repetiteur, pit musician, and arranger for music theatre and cabaret in Melbourne and nationally. In 2023 he received the Green Room award for Best Musical Direction – Cabaret for his work on BROAD with Geraldine Quinn. Busy in the cabaret field, he frequently performs with Geraldine Quinn, Dolly Diamond, Tina del Twist, Dean Arcuri, Mama Alto.

He has played countless seasons in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Melbourne, Ballarat, and Adelaide Cabaret Festivals, Edinburgh Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, Fringeworld Perth, NZ Fringe and the New York Music Theatre Festival. You can also catch him regularly singing up a storm at Ivy Windsor Piano Bar on Chapel Street, Windsor.
