Happy Father’s Day to my two favourite unpaid employees 😂🤍

To my husband and my Dad thank you for all the support, heavy lifting, loading, unloading, fixing, building, last-minute favours and the countless “can you just help me with one thing?” requests that come with My Perfect Event.

A little behind the scenes of Friday’s setup…

Transforming a blank table into an elegant celebration is one of our favourite parts of event day.

Simple florals. Warm candlelight. Timeless styling.

Our bud vases, gold candle holders, tea lights and cake stands are all available for DIY hire, or, if you’d rather leave it to us, we’ll take care of everything from styling to setup so you can simply arrive and celebrate.

❄️A little Winter ONEderland magic for Miss Lainey ❄️

We loved bringing this celebration to life, with kids’ activity tables and stools beautifully styled to suit the winter wonderland theme, as well as a highchair banner supplied for the sweetest finishing touch. Plenty of fun, interactive activities kept little hands busy all afternoon long.

🎨 Personalised colouring pages and winter craft activities to spark creativity between the celebrations.
❄️ An indoor snowball fight and snowman games for lots of laughs.
☃️ Decorate-your-own snowman mugs paired with hot chocolate cones to take home, so the winter fun could continue long after the party ended.

The little details are what turn a party into a memorable experience, and this Winter ONEderland was full of them. 🤍

Sophie recently hired a range of items from our collection to help bring her daughter’s 1st Birthday High Tea celebration to life 🎀

When Toni reached out after first using My Perfect Event over 7 years ago, we were so excited to be part of another special milestone 🖤

For her Big 60, Toni wanted to go all out and create her very own nightclub experience. With the stunning skyline views at as the backdrop, the styling was kept simple with a black, silver, and white balloon backdrop. We wanted something minimal that wouldn’t take away from the incredible views, while still creating the perfect spot for some memorable photos.

The real magic happened when hit the decks, bringing the nightclub vibes with an incredible setup and keeping the dance floor buzzing all night long. Safe to say there was plenty of dancing, laughter, and memories made!

Creating the perfect backdrop doesn’t always mean going over the top. With the incredible Melbourne skyline views at , we knew the view needed to remain the star of the show.

A sleek black arch, warm neon sign, stylish cake plinth, and a touch of black, white, and silver balloons were all that was needed to create the perfect photo moment while keeping that sophisticated nightclub feel Toni was after.
