Yesterday marked the beginning of NAIDOC Week celebrations in Lakes Entrance, a week that holds deep significance for our community.

It was a privilege for our team to quietly play a small part by providing the infrastructure to help create a space where people could come together to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to bring the day together. We hope the week is filled with connection, learning, celebration and community.

Now this is what we call putting the stage to good use! 🥟🌶️

Our stage had front row seats to the Big Kids/Adult Doin’ Dumplings Dumpling Eating Contest.

A full kilo of dumplings, chilli, coriander, dumpling sauce and chopsticks… not for the faint-hearted!

Huge congratulations to Jake, who somehow demolished 38 dumplings in 2 minutes and 57 seconds. We’re impressed. Slightly concerned. But mostly impressed.

We love seeing our gear help bring local events like this to life... from food festivals and community days to markets, music events and everything in between.
