A quiet moment of reflection as I approach my final wedding for my first season as a celebrant.

To date it’s been 13 weddings, one vow renewal and one baby naming ceremony.

I’ve loved it. I’ve learned, and still find myself learning every event. I’ve doubted myself, I’ve questioned myself I’ve felt proud of myself and I’ve celebrated!

That’s the wild ride of being a business owner and you are the product.

Hopefully soon funerals will also be a service I can offer.

But for now thank you to all the couples who have trusted me to be your celebrant 😍

You took a chance and ultimately supported me and my business. Forever grateful.

Shoutout to the other wedding vendors who’ve also been supportive and encouraging.

And to the people who have recommended me and spread the world.

A business doesn’t work without our community who champion us 💖

Today these two, my parents celebrate 50 years of marriage!

It hasn’t always been smooth sailing and they are the first to admit they aren’t perfect but I asked them what they think has contributed to a lasting marriage and they believe it’s being able to laugh, supporting each other’s interests, sticking with it when things get tough and always choosing each other through the changes and the different seasons of life.

Congratulations Mum and Dad, I know we all feel lucky you have made this milestone 🥂

Hopefully there’s plenty more to come together.

🤎 Sheri and Ash 🤎

These two 🥰

Saturday afternoon was like something out of movie when Ash rolled in on his motorbike and later Sheri in a pick up truck 🖤

These two absolutely support each other through the thick and thin, love their beautiful four legged baby girl, have such cool style, are so friendly and fun and it was awesome to be there and see them get hitched!

Their friend nailed the story and had the guests thoroughly entertained!

Sheri’s brother had all the guests sorted for shots which even included pre-workout for the non-drinkers 🩷

The music was a vibe, the weather a dream and the atmosphere was a buzz.

💙 Renee and Enrico 💙

Together for 20 years- a shared love of bowls, beautiful children and a house divided when it comes to Footy teams.

So much so the Showdown can’t be watched together anymore 🤣

They met on the greens and got married at the Bowling Club although guests thought they were attending Enrico’s 50th! However SURPRISE!!!

I love that these two did it their way.

After the Ceremony Renee shared a dance with her Dad and then Enrico sang Amazed by Lone Star to Renee and I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!

I felt really lucky to be a part of this celebration 💙
