*The Kaze: Music Uplift | Sound Check*

Sound is vibration. Music is vibration with intention.
We just finished sound check and vocal uplift for The Kaze — layering lead vocals, backup singers, and harmonies to hit every frequency that moves the body and the soul.

*Production:*
1. *Music Uplift*: High-energy beats above 120BPM increase dopamine and focus. That’s why Sound Attack feels like fuel.

2. *Sound Check*: We tune for clarity at 1kHz-5kHz — where vocals cut through, and for sub-bass 20Hz-80Hz — where you feel it in your chest.

3. *Vocal Uplift*: Layered vocals + backup singers create width. It’s not one voice, it’s a wall of sound that lifts the energy in the room.

4. *The Kaze*: Means "wind" in Japanese. This project is about movement. Sound waves moving air, music moving people.

*Album 1: NEON NIGHTS* — Underground House / Techno. 90 min rave mix on tape. "Play Loud."
*Album 2: UNDERGROUND 94* — Warehouse Techno. Two decks. One table. Zero rules.
*Album 3: KAZE WAVES* — Ambient House. 風. The sound of wind over a digital horizon.
*Album 4: ACID HORIZON* — Acid House / UK Rave / Hardcore. TB-303 screaming, smiley face melting.

The vision was simple: *Build it. Press it. Rave it.*
Limited to 100 cassettes. Photocopied zines. Distributed by hand. No label. No budget. Just belief.

That was 1994. Raw. Gritty. Neon.

That’s me — *Kassun Jayasena* — on keys and bass for *No Doubt* during the underground years.
Yamaha DX7 covered in stickers, sweat on the stage, and a room full of people skanking to every offbeat.

Playing with *Gwen, Tony, Tom, Adrian, Stephen & Gabrial* in ’94 was raw. No labels. No big tours. Just garage rehearsals, DIY shows, and building the sound we believed in. We were the ska underground. We were “LIVE”.

30 years later and I still feel that same energy every time I hit a key.
