LA SÉCURITÉ is a collective whose art punk is equal parts: jumpy beats, off-kilter arrangements and minimalistic melodic hooks; now for the first time in Vienna. A band we’ve been obsessed with for quite a while now. Stoked to being able to cross them off our bucket list in August ✍️🏁

Continuing to meander the fringes of punk, new (and no) wave and krautrock after their incredible debut record Stay Safe! (Mothland), they are now setting the stage for a new influx of D.I.Y. sonic gems. Teaming up with Simon Raymonde’s seminal British imprint Bella Union, they are releasing their sophomore long-player Bingo!

BILLI MPEG is a four-piece band from Vienna whose sound lies somewhere between driving post-punk, raw indie rock and haunting nostalgia. With a blend of melancholy and energy, the group creates a sound that feels both composedly-cool and emotional.

In this way, the band provides a soundtrack for nights spent partying, lost conversations and the feeling of being stuck somewhere between a new beginning and a standstill 🌖🌗🌘

The inspiration for this poster comes from a Finnish Moomins postcard by Tove Jansson displayed on the last slide. Sent home to a dear friend by one of us this winter. Through a special relationship to this country and Tove Janssons works, this is double meaningful 🫶💞

For the second time this wonderful April, we're inviting you to the new premises of 𝗞𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗸𝘁𝗶𝘃 𝗞𝗮𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗲 at Pavillion 21, Otto-Wagner-Areal ✨

It's been a long while since we had music from the darker side at Fractal Nights, but it was long overdue. We therefore happily present 𝗗𝗘𝗡 𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗘 from Malmö 🐦‍⬛ Joined by 𝗗𝗮𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱 who are releasing their debut album "Im Schatten der Sonne". Rounded by our friends of 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮 🔮

𝗗𝗘𝗡 𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗘 - ffo: Swans, Chelsea Wolfe, Emma Ruth Rundle
The Band from Malmö plays self-ascribed Post-Psych, but they are so much more than that. Boundary-pushing soundscapes, itinerant rhythms, bulldozing walls of sound mend into soft, creeping passages. Gonna be a whole lot of fun. Can't wait 🖤

𝗗𝗮𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱 is a band collective based in Vienna. From the gifts of the trees, they craft their sound from voices, theremin, electric guitar, and percussion, all powered by an energy crystal at the center of the magnetosphere. They oscillate between avant-garde and pop music, a sprawling minimalism reminiscent of Amon Düül II, Kraftwerk, and a leap from the clouds brought into the present. Their debut album "Im Schatten der Sonne" is out on April 17, 2026 (Problembär Records).

𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮, the new star on Vienna’s psychedelic sky. Deep and floaty, psychedelic space rock – sitar, guitar, bass, and drums transport you to a world of undulating waves, raging storms, and shimmering threads – music to get lost in, dance to, and dream to. Inspired by Kikagaku Moyo, Speck, Portishead, Naxatras, and many more.

Bonus-Highlight: Drehli Robnik on the deckZ!

Three events that belong in every respectable calendar: Topsy Turvy release their second album “Fighting The Ginormous Macho Nacho,” Lawn Chair, one of Germany’s most exciting indie bands, play their first concert in Vienna, and the Telebrains are back on stage after a break of over a year. The evening will be carefully curated by DJ & edutainer Drehli Robnik. All this will take place in the new premises of Kollektiv Kaorle, which now has its own pavillion after previously operating out of a car workshop. So for us, sky’s the limit and stuff.

LAWN CHAIR are a five-piece band from Cologne. Focused songwriting, catchy hooks, pop-appeal and a fierce live show. One of the most interesting indie bands coming out of Germany at the moment. Inspired by the likes of DEVO, Broadcast and Beck, Lawn Chair are arriving with their debut album "YOU WANT IT! YOU GOT IT!" - hi 🫶

TOPSY TURVY celebrate the release of their new album "Fighting The Ginormus Macho Nacho" (out 27.03.). Not only new music, new outfits as well. 2026 is the year of Space Age-Glam. The fantastic new album is a hymn to the independent spirit, a vibrant, breathing rebellion against toxic ‘macho nacho’ men around the world.
