An incredible night with all of you ✨

Thanks for coming and showing up to the last 2024 QJH. We shed tears, we danced, we laughed, and we expressed our hearts together. We can’t wait for the next one and we hope you all felt safe + seen. Thank you to all the poets, performers, and first timers. We hope to continue to create a safe space for all and especially for Q***r + BIPOC people to express themselves freely.

We’re in Novemberrrr! Who is excited for the next QJH? Remember that all levels of creatives are welcome to participate and explore new art forms.

At QJH we cultivate a safe space for you to express yourself. Whether you’ve been playing for years, want to try again, or want to try for the first time, we’re here for you. We hope to build community and connection that is authentic and rooted in liberation.

If music isn’t what you want to share, still come on up and share a poem, a skit, a dance. Whatever your art form, we can’t wait to see you all on November 26th!

As the year comes to an end, we wanted to provide y’all with one last Q***r Jam House of 2024.

Our vision is to build a vibrant, SUPPORTIVE community where BIPOC, q***r, and disabled musicians come together to inspire, uplift, and empower one another through the transformative power of music.

We want to foster a world where creative expression serves as a foundation for connection, mutual growth, and understanding.

We hope to see y’all at this last one and be ready for some exciting things to come in 2025.

Q***R JAM HOUSE

Time: 6PM-9PM
Where: .atx

This year, let’s come together to challenge the colonial myths of Thanksgiving and celebrate the rich cultures and stories of Indigenous, BIPOC, and q***r communities. Through the power of music, we’ll amplify voices that have been historically marginalized. We invite BIPOC, q***r, and all musicians from any marginalized community to sign up for our open mic and open jam sessions. All instruments and skill levels are welcome—whether you’re a seasoned performer or just starting out, your sound is needed and celebrated! 🎶🌈Let’s create music that heals, unites, and empowers.

We believe in making our space accessible to everyone, so there’s no cost to join in! If you’re able to, donations are greatly appreciated and help us keep the music going and the community thriving. Your support—big or small—makes a huge difference! 🎶💖
