Bekannt als Sänger und „Bühnentier“ (Der Falter) der legendären Band Fe**sh 69 in den 1990er Jahren, mit Alben wie „Antibody“ und „Purge“, begeisterte Fuchs das weltweite Publikum mit rohen, theatralischen Auftritten

Support: Meat Cheese  Heckspoiler melden sich zurück – und zwar nicht leise, sondern mit einem Hammerschlag
ins Gesicht. „Bock auf Stress“ heißt ihr drittes Studioalbum, und der Titel ist nicht nur ein
Versprechen, sondern eine Drohung: Es scheppert, es rumpelt, es knallt. Bass und Drums
treiben mit höllischem Speed und Riffs nach vorne, während die Texte gewohnt bissig
zwischen Lyrik, Zynismus, Witz und kryptischen Momenten pendeln.

Der Sound geht diesmal noch kompromissloser und definierter zu: Metal, D-Beat, Thrash
und rotzigster Punk werden zu einem explosivem Gemisch verdichtet – massive Hymnen
für Moshpits, der Soundtrack für Absturzpartys und der nächste Beweis, dass man mit
zwei Leuten so laut und massiv klingen kann wie ganze Armeen von Gitarrenbands.

They’ve released five full-length albums: Magic Rites (2012), Black Arts, Riff Worship & W**d Cult (2014), Children of the Haze (2017), Sign of the Devil (2020) and Songs for Satan (2023). Their music is characterized by a heavy, psychedelic sound with clear stoner metal influences and lyrics that often refer to occultism, drugs and dark fantasy.

Scott “Wino” Weinrich is a living legend. In a way, he is the American version of Lemmy and shares many traits with the late, much-beloved metal icon. He’s always been a rebel, loner and an outsider in an outsider scene, pursuing his music without regard for popularity or acceptance. In the process, he came to be considered one of the early pioneers of American doom.

THE OBSESSED was formed in the late 1970s in Potomac, Maryland by legendary guitarist Scott “Wino” Weinrich (Saint Vitus, Spirit Caravan). The band spawned in the realm of musicians/artists such as Black Sabbath, Frank Zappa, The Dictators, and The Stooges.

From a basis in the band’s eclectic, self-defined ‘Scarlet Doom‘ sound, The Spin rises and falls, broods and bites, comforts and destroys, while resounding with both instinctive, compulsive magic and obsessive, concerted hard work.
