The final day at KICC, in motion, and the strongest close the platform could have asked for.

Day 3 opened with the ABS and Megawatt Conference on Power, Energy & Water. Ronald Kemboi, Head of Marketing at the Special Economic Zones Authority, delivered the keynote on unlocking investment through Kenya's SEZs, reframing the conversation from selling into Kenya to manufacturing from it, across sectors spanning steel, EV manufacturing, agro-processing, data centres and more.

What followed traced the infrastructure that makes trade actually flow: sessions on making cross-border payments seamless, the Africa–China payment corridor, Edge-AI infrastructure, and a panel on sustainable construction and the future of Africa's built environment. Hela Storytellas Edition Six closed the programme with a conversation on building the 21st-century company.

On the exhibition floor, closing day ran at full capacity. Buyers who had spent three days comparing suppliers came back to commit, quotations requested, factory visits scheduled, distributorship terms agreed, and technical specifications signed off at the stand.

The matchmaking lounges ran without a break. Buyers who spent the first two days comparing suppliers came back to negotiate, quotations requested, distributorship terms discussed, factory visits scheduled, and technical specifications signed off at the stand.

Across three days the platform delivered 1,000+ B2B meetings and an estimated USD 30 million in business opportunities created.

𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟, 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠
Kenyan distributors, contractors, procurement managers and utility engineers met manufacturers and solution providers from China and across the region.

Delegations from Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda worked the floor alongside them, extending conversations beyond a single market into East African distribution.

Sectors driving the closing day: solar and renewable energy, power generation and distribution, energy storage and batteries, water and wastewater technologies, industrial electrical equipment, construction materials and manufacturing equipment.
