Save this — and read the last slide twice.
After hundreds of weddings, some mistakes show up again and again. The couples who avoid them aren’t smarter than anyone else. They just knew what to watch for.
Most common, in order:
🤍 Booking the venue before knowing your guest count
🤍 Not reading terms & conditions
🤍 Trusting “venue AV is included”
🤍 Skipping the MC (yes, even at small weddings)
🤍 Booking the cheapest vendor and expecting luxury
🤍 Inviting from obligation, not love
🤍 Short-notice planning (your sanity will not survive)

A wedding planner is not a luxury. It’s a necessity.

Two things every couple should know before they pick one:

🤍 The service tiers Full Planning — concept to wedding day Partial Planning — mid-plan rescue Day-of Coordination — ex*****on only

🤍 The pricing truth (the part nobody talks about) Industry average: 10% of total wedding budget. 5-7% = large agency, many couples, less personalised 10% = mid-market specialist, good vendor network 15%+ = luxury, boutique, fewer couples per year

None of those are bad. They serve different couples.

Ask yourself: what matters most right now — your money, your sanity, or the quality of the experience? Pick one consciously, with eyes open.

The photography mistake almost every court-wedding couple makes 🤍
Two weeks until our legal marriage in Abu Dhabi — and here’s the photography decision we made (and the trap we almost fell into).
❌ We’re NOT bringing a photographer to the courthouse. 15-minute ceremony, unpredictable day, not worth the cost.
✅ Instead: a staycation in Abu Dhabi, with a proper 2-hour shoot the next morning. Beautiful light, calm pace, real photos.
But here’s the warning most couples don’t get:
Just because you have a hotel booking does NOT mean you can bring a professional photographer onto the property. Most hotels require a permit — sometimes free, sometimes paid. Show up without one, and security will stop your shoot.
Two things to do before you book: 🤍 Ask your photographer — they know dozens of locations 🤍 Call the hotel directly — confirm the photography policy in writing

A few things to know before you fall in love with any of them:
🌿 Not every month works. October-April is your real window in Dubai.
🌿 Every garden needs a plan B - weather, wind, sand.
🌿 Guest count and lawn size need to match. A 200-guest wedding on a 500-guest lawn feels empty. A 200-guest wedding on a 100-guest lawn feels chaotic.
